Like this?

Collin Archer Bermuda Ketch bj. 1981 te koop via botentekoop.nl

Nice! My dad had a sailboat before I came along....but much smaller than this ketch!

you wrote: "and .. here on the penines be the first time i've lived away from the ocean .. and i do miss it .. and 'real' mountains .. penines be more like hills .. although biggish hills i guess .. " -- yeah I know exactly what you mean. Although I'm used to it now, when I first got to MN I was very uncomfortable and even claustrophobic because it's FLAT. I was used to Seattle, surrounded by mountains and living on top of a hill -- where you can get up high and see the scenery all around you. Now, the last time I was back in Seattle I drove up and down the hills and I found myself tensing up because they seemed so STEEP (LOL!!!). Good thing I wasn't driving a clutch!

Dragon-Man, you are too much!
Be back atcha later, I'm really working very VERY hard on an Excel spreadsheet....
I share your sadness about our sacred tunes now being elevator/commercial advert music (Boston).........
We'll work out something for the bet I knew I'd win -- lesson learned?!? (never bet with a Moon in Pisces in VIII psychic!)
Madame Z
PS: "Dreamycorn and kitty cat look at home ....." yes they do -- fantastic! And now I'd like to see what you can come up with for a pixie!

Pix ~

I was going to harrumph into the thread and say "amisha, you've forgotten THE most important person here, and it wouldn't be a good idea to ignore one of my Sherriffs...." but I didn't (egad, Leonine restraint?!? It sure doesn't happen very often!). I think you should copy your pout over there! We try to play nice in this sandbox....I noticed TP over in your Wandering/Wondering thread and did my own *gasp*. Good heavens, is she burying the hatchet (and not in your back) ???

'zala

PS: Do you like the little unicorn? Dragon-Man is a true artist! Betcha if you did a little song for him (and I have seen you **siiiinnggging in the rain** at LL before!!) he'd make you your very own pixie!

For you~

This is something I am working on..
It is..
"Thank you for holding my hand through the unknown"

By the way, it was a sexy pout....as evidenced by my lips.. it was a misunderstood pout.

Awwww, pix, nice pic, I'm touched, love the colors of course -- I always wanted to be a mermaid -- but not like The Little Mermaid, she was too much of a goody-goody.......
Cool beastie for the Dragon-Man!
I will always try to be there for Hand-Holding Thru the Unknown -- for both of ya!

Oh pixie ~

quote:
You played with my mermaid?
*purrs*
Cool.
That dragon image... I had done the body, but the wings eluded.. I just applied a texture in photoshop type program....
oddly enough, rainbow is what I wanted, but I had a limited choice.

I am so in awe that this is your own work! I feel a little silly about the wings tho' -- to me (since I couldn't see two of them) I thought it looked like a "sail" -- you know like a stegosaurus (you've got a 10-year old boy so you ought to know your dinos as well as I do!). I can see what you mean about "the wings eluded", he looks kind of "unfinished" (but still awesome, especially the head, very expressive!) Suits our Dragon-Man, doncha think?!?

Here's something D-Man wrote: ".. was looking at Pixlz chart .. its as if she be made to write and sing .. " think we gotta add draw/paint to that list.....would love to see more of your work! No wonder Natasha (or was it Gloria?) told you in another thread that you should take yourself off to the gallery, now I know what she meant!

Loves & Hugs to you kiddo ~

Oh thanks!!!!
I have been painting my azzzzz off this week.
I finished two today.
Yes, I did the mermaid one, and I did the unfinished dragon.
Maybe I will post some more that I am doing, but there is a copyright thing, as I have to look into that.

Thank you for the immense compliments!
There are so many talented people here... so many artists.
I think if you are interested in thngs such as this ( themes, etc.) You have a creative mind.
I was the child who woke up making up songs, and singing at family affairs, I stood at the eislel for an hour, until I finished, instead of zinging from activity to activity. I read every book I could find, and LOVED writing m,y own stories.
In a nutshell, I am designed this way, indeed!
Don't ask me an algebra question though.

Will check out transit link when I get home to the Lions Lair........
Cody song link works fine -- when you say "stream", I assume you just mean play from link? It does -- don't have to save and open from hard drive........
What a sad, sad song (**sniffles, wipes eyes**)
