Ok, so I am wondering, which house system does everyone here prefer to use? Personally I am a huge proponent of the Whole Sign house system, as it seems the most natural and intuitive of all... not to mention it is the original! Would you consider yourselves Modern or Hellenistic astrologers?

Very wierd, I was debating earlier today asking this very question! ...although my question was more along the lines of, "what are the differences between the systems"...

But I do have a question relating to houses...why do the houses go from 1-12 counterclockwise instead of clockwise?

I know many are hard and fast in their approach....but I think whatever seems to work and feel right for an individual is what they should use. I persuaded to the Placidus system early on and I've stuck with that.

I like the way Placidus works out for me. It just rings more true. Compare it to what you know of yourself and others when you cast.
