i too read the whole comic page , infact i am inhabit of reading three or four news paper and they are one of the big reasons for it .
is your husband writting a book related to libraries , tell u something - u will be surprised , i want to start libraries once i have completed my first goal that is to create the next walmart ( though i dont have single penny in my pocket now , (LOL) but hey i'll do this , - u know every successsful man has some unsuccessful years behind him (LOL) and these are my unsuccessful years )

cancerrg - between friends seems familiar. the comics i mentioned i read i've been reading for years but i ususally do read the entire comic section. laurel and hardy? i really never got into them. three stooges, abbot and costello, nancy drew, baby sitter club? sure. i also like the comic strip funky weinkerbein (spelling?)

You and I probably have some similar influences. I'm a Libra Sun with Mercury, Mars & Neptune in Scorpio. I've jumped across the board on all the possibilities, probably due to my Mercury/6th House as well as Uranus/Aquarius influences, wherein, there is a lot of testing and curiosity. My Sun in the 5th House can make me the "funtime girl". My Mars in Scorpio can make me the "intense huntress". My Venus in Virgo can make me demure. I've participated in all these roles, relunctantly or willingly.

But the winner who comes out ahead for me, and it may be mostly a cerebral preference which is able to rise above the carnal - FRIENDSHIP.

Romance, without friendship being at the forefront, is EMPTY. Sex, without friendship being at the forefront, is EMPTY.

Romance is mostly a delusional state of mind, wherein, we create a symbiotic connection based on our unconscious desires learned from our childhood - i.e. - recreating the love from our parents. So here, I tread the most carefully, as it is the LEAST stable of the three.

Sex can be a place to hide, OR it can be a place to express one's love, and I believe love cannot exist without friendship. So again, if the friendship is not the unifying force, then sex is where we feel we can connect, but where we are really hiding.

Friendship can turn into romantic love, which MAY or MAY NOT include sex. If I have friendship, I'm happy, even if the sex or romantic aspects are not quite ideal. Yes. It's that important!

If in addition to the friendship, there is romance, it provides a nurturing environment for trust to thrive. Trust is essential. If you have friendship, trust, romance and good sex - you've got the whole package!

I love beauty, and that is what romance is about for me. Letters, gifts, trips, and surprises are all great, and help illustrate the love you have for your partner.

Sex: Let us look at it with brutal honesty and objectivity. Systematic Rubbing of a hard biological organ with rich nerve endings inside a low friction lubricated channel, again with rich nerve endings, till climax instruction is activated in a certain brain centre. Performed regularly by birds, animals, mammals and humans.

Love: A connection between two HUMAN BEINGS, not animals, that transcends time and space and keeps each other in their thoughts and making each other ready to sacrifice for the other. Without mutual sacrifice, there is no true love.

Friendship: A connection between two HUMAN BEINGS, not animals, in which each one can confide the deepest secrets without discomfort and share joys and sorrows spontaneously. Subset of True Love in a mathematical Venn Diagram.

Romance: Acts that focus on showing one Human Being how special the other one is in which heightened emotional gratification is targeted, which may or may not lead to sexual intercourse. Again, only a HUMAN capability.

Seduction: Romance for only sexual purpose but with a definite increase in pleasurability due to build up of love juices and sensuality. Observed in Animals too. Example, Peacock feathers in bloom to attarct the pea hen.

Sex Magick: Sexual intercourse in which pleasure is not at all sought but releasing a thoughtform synchronized with climax to manifest reality. Possible only with advanced HUman beings.

Tantrik Sex/Loving Sex: Sexual intercourse in which either partner is totally concerned with the heightened emotional and sexual gratification of the other only. A powerful indicator of deep love or friendship amongst highly evolved human beings.

From the above descriptions, we know that all these are important for the Universe. Those humans who just want to be animals can enjoy sex indiscriminately. Romantic Seduction is the highest level of growth.
Consequences later on in ages where sexual function is reduced could be emptiness, manic depression.

Those humans who are highly evolved will feel Love is most important because it will satisfy friendship, romance and heightened sex as communication stemming from loyal friendship will clarify sexual needs, and emotional bonding will heighten romance + seduction leading to unimaginable satisfaction.
Consequences later on: Evolution and Happiness.

For the rare cases who are highly evolved but do not feel the need sexual gratification or love or friendship are happy with sexual magick for Spiritual Creativity exploration, either with an equally evolved person or an animalistic human partner who likes only sex as an animal function.

Lanny did a composite chart for me and my partner recently and our composite sun, moon, mercury and venus all falls in the 8th house (lots of passion and sex), so from my experience, definitely sex.

Funny enough, this guy was my friend first.

And Cancerg, Taurus moons definitely like everything that smells and tastes good. I've got taurus moon and ascendant and I love french perfumes and nice smelling bath salts. So my man must definitely smell good.

Sex w/o romance is like brushing your teeth. It's just some other everyday action that you're doing. And if you have GOOD tasting toothpaste, your breath will smell amazing for the rest of the day. But who cares if your breath smells good...how do your teeth look? Are they chipped and rotting? You have to keep the same toothpaste to get the same reaction, and when it runs out. Well, you're out.

You could have romance, with no sex and still have an orgasmic time. It'll be a spiritual and emotional experience rather than physical. And we all know the spiritual/emotional aspects outweigh the physical.

however, I talk like I'm pro-romance. I love romance and I'm jealous of it. But it creeps me out. I have a love/hate relationship with the concept. I want it so much when I don't have it, but when I do have it..I feel like I'm being smothered.

Thank God for my Sag Sun/Aqua Moon/Sag Venus/Scorp Mars boyfriend. He's a closet romantic. Hes not all lovey dovey but he surprises me by showing me that underneath all that daredevil, booze drinking, MANS MAN exterior there's a softie who just wants a hug!

I have a taurus moon. I love lotions and perfumes. I am always buying perfume.

If I leave my house without wearing my perfume I feel naked.

I have always been a perfume lover. That's why my mom always give me perfume gift sets on special occasions. People always tell me I smell so good.

I wasn't surprised when i read this in my chart:

Amiability and fidelity. Likes to please and dress up. Earns a good living. She is generous but not extravagant. Affectionate, sensual and loving in nature, she likes the good things of Life, sensitive to beauty, melodious sounds, perfumes.

Maybe it's my Venus in Taurus.

Having Pluto in my 1st house and a Cancer moon gives me an intensity that some may not associate w/a venus in Gem, but I can be scary sometimes. LOL

one is where I feel I am inside my body happy, and grateful,

the other is where I feel I am outside my body watching and incomplete.

Neither have to do with the sensuality or beauty of my partner or his love for me.

As far as I know it's my own security system.

I have Venus trine Mars so I need to feel both from my partner, not just giving or I am drained.

Devotion is beautiful too, to a plant, a home, a pet, a loved one-
