Hey all,

Any insights into which signs or combinations of signs might be good at playing poker? My guess would be a scorpio moon becuase they can be good at reading people...

If you have not already been :::

It's so funny you mention this because I was meaning to post almost the same exact topic. Doyle "Texas Dolly" Brunson is a Leo. I'm not able to find when Gus "The Great Dane" Hansen was born. Hope I got that right, but point being, who are the top poker players? What's their Charts like?

GREAT TOPIC. Hope to get more feedback.

per Linda: The three great Gamblers of the zodiac are Leo, Sagitarius, & Gemini.

I hash out a decent secondary income from my Poker play

I would think that good 5th house placements like maybe Jupiter in the 5th. Maybe 8th house if you're planning on winning other peoples money??

Theres really no such thing as a good gambler, thats mostly a fallacy. Poker is is 20% skill and 80% chance. I don't believe in luck.

My husband: Gemini Sun, Sag Moon, Leo Rising. Professional cardplayer since '08.

NNode in 5H, 5R in Sag, Jupiter in 6H exactly trine Moon in Sag. The conjunction to Neptune indicates he does best when he's following his intuition, but anything metaphysical is mumbo-jumbo to him. Even when he wins the pot. -sigh- His 2H Fortuna-Uranus (which trines his Sun) indicates some pretty major swings, though, and man, do we get those.

My Pluto in the 1st makes me great at reading people. Maybe I should take up a new hobby in Poker.

My man is a professional poker player. For about 7 years now. Aries Sun, Capricorn Moon, Taurus Rising. He reads people like a book.

Poker is less like gambling than any casino game because you're playing other players, not the house. There's definitely luck involved but skill does play a huge part. I would compare it more to chess, or stock brokers that deal with large sums of money...

I think his Aries Sun loves the thrill of the game, the competitive factor, the table intimidation etc...but PATIENCE is a huge part too. Taurus. And that Capricorn Moon is cold as ice at the tables. HA!
