Sun Trine Mars 5°01
Sun Sextile Jupiter 1°52
Sun Quincunx Saturn 0°39
Sun Quincunx Uranus 0°03
Sun Sextile Ascendant 2°14

Mars Sextile Jupiter 3°09
Mars Square Saturn 5°40
Mars Square Uranus 4°58
Mars Square Neptune 5°25

Sun & Mars are my most aspected planets...FIRREE!!!

And my least aspected planets:

Mercury Trine Pluto 3°12
Neptune Sextile Pluto 1°28

Mercury and Pluto.

Actually I also have lots of Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus aspects:

5 saturn, 5 jupiter, 5 uranus....

But I'd say I'm more of a fire-sign...I can be arrogant like a leo, self-centered like an Arian, and blunt like a Sag ...so basically I'm just FIIIRE!!

lovely do you think having your moon heavily aspected especially with squares and oppositions would make you moody or maybe seem more like a cancerian in personality?

The Sun, Jupiter and Pluto are all conjunct each other in Libra in a stellium with Mercury and Saturn. All 3 are also:

sext Mars
sext Neptune
squa Ascendant
quin Moon

The stellium also makes up one arm of a Yod that points at the Moon in Taurus. I'm trying to get more info on the meaning of the Yod. See my post called "Yod"

Least aspected is Venus. It's conj Uranus and square Saturn.

I'm just starting to learn more about Astrology, so I don't know what all of this means yet, but I like looking at my chart from all these diff angles anyway!

Most aspected: Neptune and Pluto 7 each

Least: Moon and Saturn 3 each

If the most aspected planets give you traits of that planet/sign, it kinda makes sense.. I am Pisces like - Neptune.. and get very drawn to Pisces ppl.. I'm not Scorpio like on the inside but I do come accross that way - Pluto

Least being Moon.. If I had to pick a sign I'm least like it would prolly be Cancer or Aqua

Saturn - hmmm don't know about this one. I have Saturnian qualities and short comings so this one's a crack in the theory..

Great topic!

By the way :::

For those of you who have many Neptune Aspects, with little Saturn Aspects, may I please ask you a question? Do you feel you are not very acheivement oriented, perhaps lacking in motivation? Or do other influences in your Chart make up for it?

My Sun in totally Unaspected. But everything else is relatively evenly Aspected in my Chart.

I remember reading somewhere that the least-aspected planet, especially if totally unaspected, would make it very prominent in a chart. Its energies aren't blending with anything else, meaning it's being expressed in a pure, undiluted form.

Yes, that's been the concensus. This has come up before and I rarely remember or save links to discussions, so I cannot link you to all the past info passed along here regarding Unaspected planets. If anyone cares to share past or present info, please do, as it would be great if I could understand my Unaspected Sun better. I'm sure others would like to learn more as well. Here's some general stuff :::

"ASTROLOGY
Unaspected Planets

When a planet makes an aspect with another planet, their combined energies blend and are forced to work together. A planet that does not form any of the major seven aspects is said to be unaspected and it operates on its own pure energy. The abundance of the natural energy of an unaspected planet often dominates the birth chart. It is quite common for a planet to form only one weak or minor aspect like a quincunx or semi-sextile and therefore it can be taken as unaspected. Unaspected planets are nearly always overtly expressed in a person's nature and they often dominate his chart. When unaspected planets occur ina birthchart, they should be observed closely as they have the capacity of changing the entire pysche of the individual.

Unaspected Sun-

The effect of Sun being unaspected in ones birthchart would be either good or the native might turn out to be egocentric and selfish. Most of the people with this configuration turn out to be successful or famous. King Louis X1V of France and Vincent Van Gogh possessed an unaspected Sun.

Unaspected Moon-

People with an unaspected Moon, men in particular have feminine qualities and relate well with women. Usually it is diffiuclt to control the abundant energy of Moon but these people can be managed well and they develop a kind nature. Louis Pasteur had an unaspected Moon in his birth chart.

Unaspected Mercury-

Those with an unaspected Mercury tend to be likeable, intelligent and adaptable. But they flirt from one thing to another. They also exhibit lots of confidence , humor and are sociable. The subjects are usually highly popular like Mahatma Gandhi who had an unaspected Mercury.

Unaspected Venus-

Venus unaspected in a chart is very rare and those who have it are very passive, peaceful and lazy ones. Very few of them become famous or successful. Such people are loving and giving and often well-loved and pampered in childhood. But they should take care that the materialistic side of Venus does not preceed the love element of Venus.

Unaspected Mars-

The raw energy of Mars when unaspected is capable of both physcial acheivement and destruction. The unaspected Mars produces great athletic ability and deeds of bravery. War heroes and high ranking military officers have an unaspected Mars in their charts. Lord Baden Powell, the founder of Boy Scout Movement had an unaspected Mars.

Unaspected Jupiter-

Only a few have an unaspected Jupiter in their chart. They are lucky and have optimism and good fortune.Such natives shine no matter what the rest of the chart tells. The subjects usually have a good sense of humor and lots of self-confidence. They are likeable by all and find luck and fortune in what others think as misfortune. Famed Singer Janis Joplin had an unaspected Jupiter in Cancer.

Unaspected Saturn-

The positive qualities of seriousness, conformity, practicality and responsibility are projected in the character of an individual who possesses an unaspected Saturn. Though they may not be overly charming or popular, they are usually well-trusted and respected.

Unaspected Uranus-

It is very rare to spot an unaspected Uranus in birthcharts. But its weak aspects cannot be taken for personal levels. Unaspected Uranus does not seem to engender the same dynamic, rebellious or eccentric qualities which are often apparent when aspects do occur. Unaspected Uranus is quietly unique and independent. It is less excitable and more stable than an aspected one.

Unaspected Neptune-

This enables the subject to consolidate talents and intuitive abilities while leading a constructive life.Unaspected Neptune does not have to face the challenges of difficult aspects and is therefore allowed more freedom to utilize imagination and inspiration.

Unaspected Pluto-

Those who have this uncommon placement are intense, well-balanced people who lack the usual Plutonian need to exert power over others. They are magnetic and forceful without overbearing. Powerful people are born with dominant Pluto and great is its presence in their lives that they are remembered even centuries after their death. Unapsected Pluto possesses the remarkable capacity for fame or infamy. Queen Elizabeth II, Pop star Madoona and German Composer Beethoven have a dominant Pluto in their birthcharts."

As for what it says for the "Unaspected Sun", it seems too general, I mean, we are ALL selfish to an extent no matter ... as for success or fame, I can only relate to that as what I am able to contribute to the world as a writer, but it's got nothing to do with WANTING fame, so...

This interpretation is one I can relate to much more :::

"Unaspected Planets
Occasionally, you will see a planet that is not aspected by another planet. This means that the major aspects listed above (and planets not in a parallel/contra parallel relationship- a term having to do with their north-south latitude positioning, known as declination) are not aspected with another planet. It is almost as if that planet does not know how to relate in the world. A person with an Unaspected planet must learn to integrate the nature of that planet into their life. An example of an Unaspected Venus is a person who seems to have this magnetic charm and beauty, yet is oblivious to the reaction they receive from people who are attracted to them.
"

I didn't even think about Declinations here, and as I looked at mine from under the "Additional Tables" option in astro.com, I'm not making heads or tails of it.

Here's another interesting interpretation which I can relate to a little more as well :::

"...For example, an unaspected Sun in Leo located in and ruling the 10th could easily describe a situation where the abundant ego energy is desperately searching for a suitable public forum to "strut his stuff".

Then, if the Sun forms a Natal Quintile (a 72 degree aspect suggesting creativity) with the Ascendant, we get the feeling that projecting this strong public persona is essential to "creating and defining a sense of self"..."
www.donmc.com/Unaspected.htm

My Unaspected Sun in Libra is in the 5th House, and it really has been about issues of the "grand entrance" for me, especially since I have Uranus & North Node in Leo in my 4th House - Leo is the Ruler of the 5th House where my Sun is. It's been like, I know I have much to offer, but still struggling with presentation, etc. Does that make sense?

Here's some more (which of these interpretations rings true for all of you?) :::

"UNASPECTED PLANETS

Opinions differ over the interpretation of unaspected planets. It is best to learn from experience, but the following guidelines are useful. First, the planet may be difficult to express. The principle it represents may be badly integrated with the rest of the personality and may even be neglected. In complete contrast, the lack of aspects may mean that the planet is unrestrained by other planets and therefore assumes an exaggerated importance.

Sun unaspected: these people may have a poor sense of self-identity, but may appear to be very egotistical.

Moon unaspected: these people may feel out of touch with their home, family, emotions and roots, but make strenuous efforts to overcome the problem.

Mercury unaspected: these people may find it difficult to express their thoughts, may be quiet, but strive actively to develop intellectual skills.

Venus unaspected: these people may find it difficult to form close relationships, but may make great efforts to be sociable.

Mars unaspected: these people may find it difficult to motivate themselves but may have uncontrollable energy.

Jupiter unaspected: these people may have Difficulty in creating opportunities, but spend a lot of energy looking for them.

Saturn unaspected: these people may find it difficult to recognize limitations and cope with difficulties, but may develop strong self-discipline.

Uranus unaspected: these people may have difficulty in expressing their personality, either neglecting or exaggerating it.

Neptune unaspected: these people may have difficulty in giving expression to their imagination and mystical aspirations, but become very dedicated to artistic work or religious activity.

Pluto unaspected: these people may find it difficult to harness emotional energy, and may seek emotional commitment and confrontation."

I hope that my Unaspected Sun in the 5th is not making me egotistical in order to compensate for my lack of "ego direction".

This one regarding the Unaspected Sun is the most accurate one I've found yet :::

"...An unaspected Sun is an indication that the individual will need to find a completely new way of using his or her ego to find something outside the family dynamic to pursue. There is a maverick energy with unaspected planets, and it often indicates that a 'new soul' has come into the family to break professional, social hierarchies. The unaspected Sun person will find it exceptionally difficult to conform to the family, but will attempt to do so until a turning point occurs, allowing them to set off in their own direction. Often their father has not been traditionally paternal, has been a 'friend' or completely absent by circumstances or choice. There is usually a very strong longing for a father, or father figure, but because there is no aspect from the Sun to another planet, there is no clear image of the father in the psyche. Hence, the person has to become their own father, or to become their own authority. All the words that stem from the Latin auctor - author, authority, authenticity, and all derivatives are especially significant for unaspected solar people. They must find inner validation rather than seeking it from without. This often means long periods of wandering, looking, seeking and searching for purpose and direction in life..."

SO TRUE FOR ME!!!

Maybe having so many Aspects to your Ascendant gives you the "what you see is what you get" vibe so many of us appreciate (?)

If a planet only aspects 1 or 2 planets in the chart(plus a few minor or weak aspects), can it be called unaspected?

I only have one moon aspect:

Moon Sextile Mercury 6°54

does the orb qualify this as a valid aspect?
only astro.com shows me this aspect, none of the the other software I have used have shown it (and they show that I have NO aspects to the moon)

Feedback is appreciated!

Most Aspected
(6)Moon in Leo (11th house)
(5)Neptune in Sag (4th house) (says technically near the end of house 3 and is interpreted in house 4)

Least aspected:
(1)Venus in Scorpio (2nd house)
(1)Jupiter in Virgo (12th house)

I'm very new to aspects, I've always paid most attention to my sun, moon and rising signs. If anyone has any insight to the above I'd be oh so greatful!

Maybe if the Aspects are between like Sign. But you'd be splitting hairs at some point and you'd have to be prepared to digest it all.

libra78 -

I'm not into wide orbs, but that's mostly a preference. I'd say, the best indicator is to be your own astrologer. Study astrology, and observe yourself to answer the question for yourself.

The only exception I make is when you are dealing with two Aspects of same Sign and/or same Element.

My most aspected planet is Neptune with 6 aspects:

Neptune conjunct Midheaven
Neptune quincunx Venus
Neptune sesquisquare Mars
Neptune semisextile Jupiter
Neptune opposition Saturn
Neptune sextile Pluto

Least aspected are Moon and Saturn with 3 aspects each:

Moon conjunct Saturn
Moon conjunct Sun
Moon trine Uranus

Saturn conjunct Moon
Saturn trine Uranus
Saturn opposition Neptune

The Neptune energy, I seem to have difficulty utilising. It is in my 10th house and as far as I know it is the only singleton in my chart (only planet in Fire). I'm not entirely sure how this would manifest but I know that I have never known what I wanted to do with my life. I left school with no idea what career to go into and ended up in a dull office job (which I'm still sticking out 15 years later! Must be that fixed midheaven). I think Neptune in 10th house gives me my leaning towards spiritual pursuits along with Jupiter in 12th and Pluto (midheaven ruler) in 8th.

I find my hobbies much more fulfilling than my work or role as housewife.

Saturn - one of my least aspected planets - is the one I feel the most. I find it very repressive.
