Hi NM, Squares (and oppos) can actually be a good thing in synastry. When you have too many trines and sextiles, things can get boring quickly. There will definitely be mental sparks between you. You could find that you have very different viewpoints on alot of matters, but that isnt necessarliy a bad thing! You should really take a look at all of the aspects between the charts. You could have some really strong/pleasant aspects that will soften the hard ones. Mentally you will keep each other on your toes. You could learn alot from each other, you could disagree on alot of things, but also open up new mental avenues to each other. There could be bickering, problems in communication and understanding each other due to different styles of communicating - or maybe not so much, try not to look at it in a negative light. The chart should be looked at as a whole. Hope that helps a bit. ------------------ "I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now." - Bob Dylan IP: Logged |

hey NM, I imagine the modality of the square would also play a part?

Hi Nurse Neptune ~Linda writes: quote: You share a bushel of differences of opinion, some of them serious, some just plain silly. You're capable of criticizing everything from the way one of you brushes his or her teeh or how the toilet paper should go on the roll to the way money is spent and the best time to vacation, let alone the place. You'll probably argue about politics, quarrel about what music to listen to or what movie to see. There's just no denying the difference in your taste in entertainment, lifestyle, the news, and food. But you can try to make those differences work for harmony, instead of against it, and become happy campers despite this vibration. Sometimes differences create perfect solutions, like that old Mother Goose nursery rhyme, "Jack Sprat could eat no fat,/His wife could eat no lean./And so you see, between them both/They licked the platter clean." Look on the bright side.

Hi ladies, thanks for replying.Hey 26 yes that did help. His Sun is in Sag and Moon is in Pisces. His sun conjuncts my Jupiter and Uranus. Also my Sun makes a hard aspect with his Sun/Moon midpoint. Not quite sure if that’s good. And his Venus closely conjuncts my Neptune ( almost exactly ). Also his Sun trines my Venus and Mars. I guess overall it’s not too bad, but in my experience anyone who’s Mercury closely squares mine…well lets just say kind words are never heard lol the square is within a degree. However, in those relationships, we had very few good aspects. Hi Whiterabbit Modality? As in cardinal, fixed or mutable? If so then it’s fixed I’m guessing it means neither one of us would want to back down - which would basically make things much harder. I’m assuming. Everything’s ok…so far, I’m keeping my fingers crossed and my mouth shut lol. Hi Az thanks for that. I guess this isn’t too bad, but I really hate arguing with anyone. My mum has a Scorpio Mercury, but we square by sign, we still argue on occasions. But thank God my mum’s a reasonable Libra…she always considers at my point of view and is very understanding. But my God, the way we think is so different…and sometimes when we disagree neither of us is willing to back down. But I have to admit, I really respect the way she sees thing. IP: Logged | |
