I have never understood my scopio mom and vice versa. I am feeling very, very ill today and was unable to go to the family's Mother's Day get together. I did call her, which resulted in her getting icy with me about not being able to make it. She just totally cut me off. Its usually like that in some form or another.

I'm a Sag and have never been that into family things, which drives her crazy. She is very much into the whole family and tradition, and doesn't understand me. Sigh it makes me feel bad how we are so not on the same wavelength. I don't know how to have her see that you don't have to spend every single weekend with your family to show you care. She makes me feel so guilty for just being myself.

I'm a Sag with a Scorpio mom, too and I get the "guilt trip" when we don't meet eye to eye. Most of the time I give in because I can't stand guilt. Maybe this is a placement thing.

Come to think of it, though, my grandma was a guilter as well. In fact, my mom would rant to me about how much she hated it!

My Sun is in Sag in the 1st my moon is at the start of the 4th in Pisces. My mom's sun is Scorpio in the 9th, and Pisces moon in the 1st. I love he so much, we just don't get where the other is coming from most of the time. I really want to understand her better, so I may improve how I communicate with her.
