im CAP sun, CAN moon PISCES asc SCORP mars CAP libra. generally i present as COLD but hold back a catastrophic explosion of emotion.

my parents split when i was 7, so my dad has had little/no bearing on my personality development untill recently (an entirely different sad story .

i am the youngest by a span of 16 years

MUM- aqaurius
DAD- taurus
HALF SISTER- cancer
HALF BROTHER#1- scorpio
HALF BROTHER#2- scorpio

i have no "full" brothers or sisters, only half bro/sis "s on mums side from her first marriage. When i was born, my dad was 17 years younger than my mother. my half sister (from mums first marriage) is 2 YEARS YOUNGER that MY DAD!!! freaky huh!! my half sis was 22 when i was born, my half bro#1 was 21 and half bro#2 died at age 11 (5 yrs B4 i was born).

half bro #1 and his girlfriend had a daughter, my NIECE, 1 day before i was born!!!! (MY NIECE IS 19 hrs older than me!) on 28 DEC 85 (im 29 dec 85)

BUT im my experience water signs play games with peoples heads. between my bro and sis it was always an unspoken competition, both insulting and ridiculing me in the -process....i kept quiet...
why didnt they fell COMP{ASSION for thier younger sis??? i feel compassion for them!???

what i think is kinda wild is that im Gem/Scorp, my dad is Scorp/Gem. Also, me and my mom share the water moon, me n my bro share the air sun, my moon is my sis's Sun.

I am the polar opposite of my father though...wrote about this to HSC once i believe, long story ...but hope I dont turn into him (bipolar psycho dude)...

My grandfather was a SS member.
My dad was a surgeon.Also addicted to alcohol.
My mom was constantly depressed,died and then dad brought his lover home.
My twin sister was kicked out of the house because she got pregnant when she was 17.
I got married with the first guy i ever had sex with(there were many men,but i was in love with him)but he was manipulative,i also had a miscarriage.

One of my older brothers is bisexual.

We were mostly brought up by my grandparents(deceased) and my (Sagittarius)uncle,the most gentle,kind,loving,open-minded people i had ever met,i love them so much

The only bestest thing ever happened to us is the fact that we are a very creative/productive family.

I'm an director/actress(i am currently teaching in an institute),my Virgo older brother is a interior designer,my other Virgo brother is a photographer,my twin sister is a drummer and just took a degree in Architecture and my Pisces brother is a landlord.
Oh and my Cancer sis is about to be hired as an English teacher.

I'm not positive on this, but I would think a Cardinal Air (Libra) sign would be great for a Cardinal Fire (Aries) sign. Isn't it Air and Fire are good together, and Earth and Water are good together?

although some matches are typically thought of to be 'good' or harmonious in terms of simple element comparison (earth-water, fire-air, etc.), there are other factors like modality (cardinal, fixed, mutable) involved, etc.

If you look at the picture of the following chart, you can see that since Aries comes first, then Taurus, then Gemini, etc., Taurus is next to Aries. Gemini is two signs or 'houses' down, right? Cancer is the third one down. Leo is fourth. so on.

Libra ends up being the sixth down from Aries. Since there are twelve signs, any sign that is six signs apart from the other is considered its opposite.

If you look at this chart below, you will see that Aries is directly opposite on the chart from Libra.

They are directly opposite each other. Any sign that makes a 'hard' or difficult aspect with another is considered, generally incompatible. Hard or difficult aspects are 90 degree angles, and 180 degree angles. (signs that are 3 or 6 houses down, like Cancer or Libra is to Aries).

Good or harmonious angles are 60, or 120, degrees, which are called semi sextile, sextile and trine. These aspects occur when signs are 2, or 4 houses down (like Gemini or Leo is to Aries).

The simpler way of putting it is, usually in any chart, the cardinal signs will all square or oppose each other, same with all the fixed, and all the mutable. (Aries is 90 degrees from Cancer, which is 90 degrees from Libra, which is 90 degrees from Capricorn, which is again 90 degrees, or 3 houses away from Aries).

I like to think of it like traffic lights. If you're coming one direction and another person smacks into you at a 90 degree angle you're screwed. Or if two people are going in the opposite directions and crash its devastating.

regarding the Aries-Libra relationship , Linda writes in Love signs:

she says other stuff about if other moon/asc aspects are good it could work out better.

Heres a description of Aries-Libra, or oppositions in general, in Astrology for Dummies by Rae Orion:

"Oppositions: Planets in opposite signs are often though not always in opposition. To be sure, check whether they are within the orb of influence. If you Mars is at 18 Sagittarius, any planet between 10 and 26 Gemini (18 Gem +/- 8 degrees) is in opposition. Different astrologers consider different orbs, or 'leeways' for aspects.

Any other sign whose modality is the same and element is complementary will be opposite. For ex., Gem's opposite is the communicator in the fire (complementary to air) group, which is Sagittarius. Taurus's opposite is the fixed/organizer sign in the water group, which is complementary to earth, thus Taurus's opposite is Scorpio.
