My ascendant is Gemini, and a girl I'm interested in is a Gemini. I've finally got her birth time today, and was able to look at a couple free reports that were mostly positive (i.e. multiple psychic connections, many good love omens sexually and non-sexually, talk of us being able to create together and grow because of one another).

It's the negative aspects I want to ask about. There's no violence noted (how could there be between two heavily Gemini people?). I think most of the negative aspects fall on my side of the contributing profiles. My dominance and conflicts of ego are noted.

My questions are mostly:

When it comes to matters of love how do you determine what negative aspects are deal breakers?

Are there aspects of everyone's chart that probably won't ever be completely complimented by another person's chart?

Please pick up a copy of Linda Goodman's "Relationship Signs" if you can and read thru the interps of your synastry aspects. Or you can direct your specific questions to people like astro junkie, sthenri or Happy Dragon, and if they have time they may come by and lay some interps on you!

One thing you can do is go to www.astro.com -- have you set the two of you up there yet? If you have, go to the "Free Horoscopes" seection and choose AstroClick Partner under the "Interactive Horoscopes" section. There, if you click on a link, a popup will give you an interp. C'mon back here if you have some more questions.

I have gone to astro.com and done that, and I did another one as well at astrology3d.com (?). Like I said they are largely positive, and I just wonder if that means it's 'blessed,' for lack of a better term. Does anyone ever get a completely congruent composite chart?

What about her chart is there a strong Jupiter contact somewhere? Also look at her squares and oppositions, do you have the trine or conjunction where she has the harsh aspect?

Does my Venus square my Moon? I don't think so. My moon is in Virgo and my Venus is in Sagitarius. I really have no idea what relation that is. Is it square?

I can tell you that I've always been attracted to Cancers, so it's no surprise to me that her chart has a Cancerian moon and ascendant. Also, from what I've seen of her chart so far, it's not her chart that has the harsh aspects, it's mine.

Here's what my chart says about my moon. Some contradictory info it seems:

Moon in Virgo:
You are very sensitive, cautious, and shy about showing others your feelings. Though you may love and care for someone a great deal, you rarely express those feelings openly and freely. Very often your love for someone will be expressed by trying to help them, doing something tangible to benefit them, or serving them in some way.
It is also difficult for you to receive warmth, affection, or appreciation, for you often feel that you don't really deserve it or that "they don't really mean it". You can therefore seem rather cool and aloof, much more so than you feel.
A deeply ingrained critical attitude often makes you difficult to live with. You need to learn to be gentler and less of a perfectionist with others and with yourself.

Moon in 5th house:
You are emotionally expressive and often dramatize your feelings, acting them out or blowing them out of proportion. You can not hide your instinctive emotional reactions to people or situations, and you don't make any pretenses about your personal sympathies or antipathies.

Moon Sextile Mars:

I find that fascinating that you say I'm the more balanced between her and I, Astro. Maybe it's my own self-doubt. What I've read of her chart so far has been largely positive. Perhaps I ought to ensure that I do go into every detail just in case.

As for the other thing she mentioned, her Moon is in Gemini and her Venus is in Cancer. The Moon is how she "feels" about herself, others, and the world around her. How she's likely to react at the onset. Her Venus will show what she is attracted to, and what she sublimally attracts to herself.

Moon in Gemini allows her to be more objective about her emotions, but if she really starts to fall in love, then Venus joins in, and that is in emotional Cancer. In order for her to feel secure in a relationship, she needs a partner who gives her the right balance of space and security, as Cancer will ultimately need to shack up and settle into a rather dependable and predictable routine. But once she knows she has the dependability, she'll expect her leash to loosen up quite a bit, especially since she has a Sun in Gemini too.

There is danger she may stray although if she does, she will not be happy.

So, do you think you can be those things to her without having to try too hard? You are a Cappy with Virgo Moon, and it is natural for you to try hard AT FIRST. But you may have to work at not making your partner feel like you take them for granted after a while.

I could easily see you both going your separate ways at various times. What brings you two back together over and over again through the years will be the real challenge to both your characters.
