Ok, so what do you think about Capricorn bosses. How do you go about getting them to pay you what you are worth? How do you get them to take you seriously? Are they very slow in doing either one? Ok, well that's it. Anybody?IP: Logged |

u need to show ur worth , confrontations are ok if he belives its being done honestly , remember they can be more suspicious people than even scorps , so try to gain his faith , its easier than gaining a scorp's just be very respectful if he is elder to u and speak ur mind (no probs in that) but ofcourse dont be irritating . all in all they are ok, so no need to worry.IP: Logged |

Quit?You mention that this Capricorn doesn't take you seriously. That could stem from a number of things: Maintaining a non-fraternizing front. If this is the case, and he/she doesn't take you seriously, it may be because he/she is trying to maintain his/her loyalty towards those above you. If that's the case, then you need make certain that the Capricorn is indeed the person you need to speak with about a raise. Antagonistic. If he/she is antagonistic toward you, and you guys butt heads often, then you'll probably need to take a strong stance against him/her. You'll have to either cause him/her to take you seriously by indicating with your tone that you mean business, or threaten walking out and taking another job. These measures will definitely show you exactly where you stand with them. You're too kid-like. If this is the case, you just want to make certain your boss knows how thorough and exacting you are in your work (if it's a type of work that requires such things). Capricorns are very thorough in their work, so they appreciate the same attention to detail. Mostly, you have to take away a Capricorn's excuse for treating you that way. If you can gain your boss' trust in your capabilities, you'll be set. When it comes to money and raises, make sure the company can afford to pay you more, and that it would be worth it to the company to keep you around. If you do a menial task that anyone can do, then you may get into trouble, and may do better angling for a promotion. IP: Logged |

Thanks guys. I really like him acctually. He's like your funny grandfather(although not quite that old.) I know he doesn't want to loose me. I took the place of a friend who quit, and I guess I'll just have to wait and show I'm worth getting paid as much as him. I don't want to confront him, or quit, or anything like that. I acctually am more steady than my friend who quit. He had tendancys to just not show up unexpectedly on occasion. Maybe he's afraid I'm like him. I acctually am in alot of ways, and he knows that, but it's unlikely that I'm just going to decide to stay home when I'm getting paid to do something, like he did. Well I guess I'll just have to wait and prove myself. This could take a while....IP: Logged |

I had one when I first started in my career and they are serious, hard-working people ... they mean bizness, period ... no time for goofing around (unless there is absolutely down-time) ... are very nurturing to a degree and likes for you to ask them questions ...If u show ur a person who is serious about what they do as far as work and are wiling to sweat a little under the gun they will love u ... If ur a goof-off, take things lightly, have a "it can get done tomorrow" attitude and play political office games, they will slice into u ... Hey cancerrg, I'm a Virgo with an Aqua asc., Leo Moon. I think he loves my ability to work under pressure... Although I don't think he's crazy about my Aquarian craziness, & need to change. I've heard him say himself that he doesn't like change. Things need to be orderly.... Bla, bla bla. Not saying he has no fun, or is stuffy. He has a very good sense of humour.
I kinda have this airy thing where I sometimes wander about, and am not always easy to be found when someone needs me right away... I could be here doing this, or there doing that... You know.
He probably hates any airy traits I've got, but he likes it that if anything sudden comes up I can pull it off. He has compared me to a sponge, because I apparently retain things well and pick up on anything quickly.Edit: Oh yeah, Scorpio MC IP: Logged |

The capricorn man I love was my boss when we were working with the census bureau. Everyone was shocked when they found out he was 29 because he looks like hes at least 19-21. He is very professional and it comes naturally to him. Even if we were together I did my work and did what I have to and never took advantage of the fact that he was my boyfriend.They like to see you show you can do your work. No laziness will be accepted. They always play fair and make sure evrything is going good. ------------------
