Ok, has anyone seen this movie yet? The websites are http://thebleep.co.uk and http://whatthebleep.com

I plan on seeing it but I found it interesting that it seems to cover a lot of material that I thought I myself had already figured out, just never talked about.

And I think astrology helped me to figure it all out.

Well, food for thought.

I rented it and got bored. I recommend "Mindwalk". Or "A Beautiful Mind".

Fayte! "A Beautiful Mind" is my all time fav.! I believe I posted somewhere I believe schitzophranics have a connection to the universal collective unconscious. And parallel universes.

hey Q, i heard that "what the bleep" was funded by a group of folks out in washington state that belong to a "Ramtha" cult or something. i dont mean to offend any possible ramtha'ites out there, i have met some very nice ones. but supposedly there is a person that "channels" a god called Ramtha and the ramtha'ites funded or produced that movie... if anyone knows any different please feel free to correct.

Philbird -

Each and every one of us lives in a parallel universe. It's just that, a schizophrenic's happens to be VERY painful.

I saw "What the Bleep" on Monday nite.

Liked all the points that were made, agreed with some, and didn't understand one or two. It's not very DEEP though. Somewhat of a tease.

I have to chime in on the comments on schizophrenics. I have an aunt who is schizophrenic and from everything i have observed she doesn't have anywhere near a connection to the collective unconcious. You can't judge and illness by some movie even if it is based on a true story.

All i can see from her is an inability to relate to people and difficulty fuctioning with everyday things that we all take for granted (among all the other symptoms that go along with it). You can't take a serious illness like schizophrenia and make it sound romatic or mystical, cause it isn't. It ruins people's lives!!! And seriously limits what they can do in life. And i don't care if people think i am overeacting, you really should think about what you say before you make light of people's handicaps.

I agree - this movie doesn't go deep enough, touches the surface and has some good information, such as addiction and rewiring our emotional reaction by interrupting our thoughts was useful. Their message overall was good.

I don't think he meant it in an evil vicious way. You made it seem that way.

Now if he had said something negative well that is a different story.

It's one thing to educate someone who didn't know but to snap back the way you did was rude.
