when i looked at a davidson chart between a person and i
the chart comes out to 2 days past a persons chart we know
this means ALL of our planets conj. ALL of his natal planets.

a davidson chart is a chart made by combining the birthdays of two people(time date location) and in so doing you are given one birthday and you then cast a chart on that.
its suppose to be similar to a composite but more accurate(some say) in showing how the relationship effects each person(when compared to natal)
so you can see how weird it is to combine a chart with mine and end up getting the birthday(almost, 2 days past) of someone we are both close to.

no synastry is looking at the charts and seeing where you planets fall in the others charts and vice versa, and how those energies play togather.
composites are made by midpoints
davidsons are made by combining the info. to give one birthdate/ one location / one time

hey .. thats great news ..re: davison chart / composit / synastry
for relationship astro .. i put more in the composite ..
i.e. following transits made to it (plus natals of course)
synastry be a good way of telling how 2 people may
or may not get along .. but what is going on in their own
and their partners natals via transits and progresions ( if any)
.. is much more important .. .. .. ... just my veiw though .. .. ..
synastry example between myself and a good freind be:
.. his nVenus dead Square ( minus 1 deg orb. ) my nVenus .. someone i've known for ages .. his music tastes are radicaly
different from mine .. over time we have swapped a fair ammount
of tapes/CDs .. in general we dislike each others tastes ..
.. however on talking about it .. we have found that our own
music ... tastes/knowledge/experiences ..
.. .. .. have grown from our differences .. .. .. ( however i have been trying to teach him to play bass guitar
for the past umpteen years .. and almost given up in frustration :-))))
.. but then with his Leo mars .. he will do things his way .. almost
regardless ... so for now he be a 'sunny bunny' bassist ... with 'nowt a musical clue :-)) .. yeah midpoints are interesting .. i am still searching for
a printed article to post here on midpoints ( context not
be too nice though .. murder and suicide .. don't want to freak
folk out .. so to speak .. )
... i think the article was about 'arabic points' .... .. i shall continue the hunt for said article 'cause it
may be of interest .... composites /davison ... i'd be intersted to know what lined
up / matched in your comparison ... i mean in close birthdays
certain placements will hardly change etc etc ... Thanx for link .. i will check it out .. maybe try some chart veiwing here 'till later ..

I think I know what article you are talking about i read it last week.
If it was only half a page packed full of interesting points written by an arabic astrolger.I will try to find it too.
Also there is an article on the Bob marks site
dealing with murderers with studies/statistics.

Thats pretty cool Devilfish. I had not known what zactly that chart was for. But now i do.When i ran on for my hunny and i ... the date flashed at me as well. The date that it came up with was Feb 20, 1981. My hunny and i began going out on Feb 18, 2000 after weeks of courting. Our first intimate evening was on Feb 20/21 (weee morning hours) So even though the years are off, theres special meaning to the Month and Day. Good luck in your search for answers! ang- IP: Logged |
