So, I know what the general accepted orbs for certain aspects are, but I've noticed with a few of mine, where texts say the accepted orb is 8 degrees...my aspect's orb is something like...8*48'39"...is something like this still accepted or is it considered slightly out of orb thanks the minutes and seconds? IMO, it is still in orb. You really want to just take into account the degrees, not pay too much attention to the min. and secs. The minutes and seconds are there showing how close it is until moving into the next degree, but, the planet is still at that degree. Hope that helps.....and is right. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.IP: Logged |

"The minutes and seconds are there showing how close it is until moving into the next degree, but, the planet is still at that degree." This makes total sense to me! It's like saying the 8*48'39" aspect isn't quite at 9...even if you're wrong I'd still count those 2 aspects after reading them IP: Logged |

Cool. Yeah, the more I think about it, the more right it seems to me too.IP: Logged |

Yeah, one of the aspects in question is Mars conjunct Uranus, I'm over here reading it going, how can that NOT be affecting me, it sounds a lot like me. IP: Logged |

Yeah, I bet you can feel that one! As you know, a conjunction within 10 degrees is in fact, within orb. I've got the Mars/Uranus square within a 2 degree orb. Yep, feel that one sometimes. Explosive combo, those two. Though not always in a bad way! Remember that. IP: Logged |

Mars/Uranus thingies can be fun! For, um, adventures!! YES! I didn't know that 10* orb was accepted for conjunctions instead of 8* but that definitely makes sense since they are soooo strong!! I vaguely remember that you just did orb thingies or someone did in the free course, maybe I should have a look! IP: Logged |

Indeed! And yes, I use 10 but other astrologers use 8 or so. No one agrees on what exactly it should be. But as always, the tighter the orb, the more intense the energy. IP: Logged |
