Hello all, this is actually my first post, I have been following the site for sometime I have a few questions concerning fatal attraction and the south nodes. I have this case, where my south nodes conjucnt someone's venus and saturn (yeah I know both of them!) and there is a saturn (4th house) neptune (10th ) opposition, and moon neptune opposition, and moon conjucnt saturn, evidently, this is all manifested in the synastry report. But here is the strange thing, our charts alone, on their own, show a mars, venus, moon (mine) in Taurus in opposition to their Neptune in scorpio, and Venus (theirs) in Aries in opposition to my Pluto in Libra, their sun is in my 8th house, their moon conjunct my ascendent, their Mars in Sag conjunct my neptune and in opposition to my Sun, finally, there is a node exchange, my north node conjunct their South Node and vice versa, but it doesn't show THESE aspects on the synastry -- I don't actually understand this? so my question is based on the above, is this powerful enough to rationally explain the completely illogical (cant get you out of my mind) fascination? My second question is about the south nodes, i read that when your south nodes fall on someone's else planets, you are inexplicably drawn to them, but is the opposite true? Or is it a one way thing? I mean with all the aspects, is one partner meant to feel the attraction more? (Saturn in Leo, hence fear of rejection i guess) I read about Saturn and Neptune aspects and all that Karma but still...saturn neptune opposition -- Karmic? Saturn south node, karma? Saturn's very existence is a premonition of ''karmic'' separation? What's up with that? The literature does not specify who is bound to feel the attraction more, hence willing to sever the relation. Sorry if the above seems repetitive... Thanks IP: Logged |

I dunno about the rest (Im not that good at this) but I think the Venus-Pluto opposition would be the "can't-get-my-mind- off-of-you" factor, but there probably would be some type of struggle.South Node connections indicate someone you "recognize" from a previous existence. Or at least familiarity??? There's an article saying that Saturn-Neptune connections also indicate "karmic" past life lovers. Especially if theyre in "Karmic" Houses. I dont remember where it is though. Hoped this helped IP: Logged |

I know for sure that a South Node exact conjunction to another`s personal planet or angle (North Node conjunction too) can produce such strong fascination from the Node person to the planet person, it will be hard to explain it. This Node aspect can carry on the whole relationsgip alone even if the rest of the syanstry is not strong enough. We are talking exact ( 0 to 1 degree orb) conjunction. Strange, isnt itIP: Logged |

neptune's muse, you say that your charts alone show all those aspects, while they don't in synastry? Perhaps you are not taking orbs into account when you look at the charts? For example you might be thinking that say,the sun and moon are in opposition because the sun is in aries and the moon is in libra. But actually, all aynastry charts show only close aspects,so if sun is at 25 degrees aries and moon at 5 degree libra, they wont be in opposition by degree only by the sign and that is not as powerful as a close aspect. I hope Ive got you right and/or made some sense. all the best to you.IP: Logged |

Firelights, You are right! I must have ignored the orb factor -- due to my recent inititaion and interest in Astrology. I didn't think it was that important. This makes sense now, I just look at it from a bigger picture sort of thing. Thanks for the tip firelights. Smiles, IP: Logged |
