I'm trying to find this great article on this that I read awhile back. This period will be especially significant to people with planets in Taurus. Look to the areas where this retrograde will be hitting your chart. It will be in my 3rd and 4th houses...uggh.

Mars retrograde gives rise to irrational action; introspection; depression and self-assessment; relationship conflicts; major rethinks and reorientation of current projects are also often required.

When Mars is retrograde, everyone's thought patterns are more introspective and we tend to think about issues and concerns which relate to the sign involved. With Mars retrograde in Taurus, people with Sun or Moon in Taurus, or Taurus rising, will be especially prone to such introspection. There is little choice but to reconsider personal views and opinions about life, for it presents an opportunity to gain insight into unconscious motivations.

Mars retro in Taurus is heavily practical and deliberate, but blocks foresight, disturbing organizational and executive action. Circumstances tend to be thwarted by obstacles and and the desire to push forward until your goal is reached. Control the tendency to overspend on luxuries, especially clothing and fine foods. People tend to be exceedingly stubborn, and communication is not diplomatic, but blunt and when people become angry they are apt to be bullheaded. If legacy comes to you there is danger of losing it through legal trouble. There is also danger of unfavorable unions, powerful opponents, scandal and monetary difficulties which are usually the outcome of living too lavishly or from domestic troubles. Drink adequate amounts of water (6-8 glasses daily) and avoid eating hot and spicy foods to offset infection and inflammations, particularly of the throat.

The whole thing can be read here:

I remember this! It was before Labour Day, and we were camping.. we went and took a look , and to the naked eye, you could really see it!
I thought, as I read the article, What? I thought this already happened???
Yes., it did! Thanks for clarifying.

26Taurus.. the retro station of Mars is interesting though.. as my Natal Mars is in Scorpio, so this Mars retro will be opposing it.

By the way.. have I mentioned lately how delicious and perfect I think Taureans are?

Wait, wait, wait... are you guys sure this already happened?

I just got an email about this from a friend who is niether astrologically nor astronomically inclined. I find it strange that the info is floating around again...

I find the email puzzling, so I'm looking for a second opinion (wishful thinking...???)

So much for wishful thinking...

Maybe if we all try really hard to make it happen again...!!!

And, how in the world did I miss this in '03?

Oh well!
