Topic: sun in libra, moon in aquarius

anyone else have this combination? i have it and find that most descriptions make it sound really ideal because you are so balanced about the nature of humanity and yet idealistic at the same time. but actually it's a really difficult aspect to have, because you can get along with most anyone but have to deal with the fact that most people are not able to do that, and you end up getting used a lot when all you wanted was just for everyone to get along. it happens to me, and one of my friends who has this...think about john lennon and timothy leary who both had this too...anyway just a thought i wondered if i'm alone in thinking this or if other people agree.IP: Logged |

hello Q,Well I haven't got your combination but I've got something similar- Aqua Sun and Libra Ascendant. And I do agree with you! But I sort of like the difficulty of the Aqua/Libra combo, I like being the peacekeeper and being able to get along with people who are mortal enemies-- it's pretty interesting to get to hear from both sides, "in confidence". I've learned a lot about people and relationships through that.

I also don't have exactly the same but I have a Libra Sun and Aquarius Asc. I too get along with everyone and find the same thing happens to me often. I also have a Sagittarius moon which I think also contributes. IP: Logged |

yeah i actually have a sag ascendant which i think only adds to the open mindedess and wanting people to get along.i agree with you guys that a libra-aquarius combo can be really fun and hearing from both sides is cool, but i tend to feel like why is it so easy for me to understand all sides of every issue when other people can't? and i get sad that people can't just get along and see both sides of every issue. i also agree it's made me learn a lot about human nature, so i'm even further disappointed when other people don't understand it as well as i do and i don't have anyone to talk about it with. plus, i tend to feel that many people don't appreciate someone with a libra - aquarius combo who can relate to everyone. i find that lots of people think i'm really flaky for not being hardheaded about my opinions, when the truth is my only opinion is that everyone should be open minded and NOT hardheaded about their opinions! but i feel like in this day and age thinking that way doesn't get you much respect, and that makes me sad because i think everyone deserves respect including me... so i guess overall the way i feel is a little detached from human nature, often dissapointed by it but still completely understanding of it, and in my efforts not to make the same kind of selfish human mistakes that a lot of people make, i live in this strange more refined world of the intellect, as air sign people are inclined to do...and then i try to be good and not think about my needs but the needs of humanity and the group, when i'm relating to people, and as a result get walked on a lot. overall it's a difficult burden to bear, understand human nature but being too intellectual to sometimes understand people...it's a very aquarian trait and my chart is hugely aquarian, but the libraness adds to it. i suppose it just comes from having too many air signs. i'll stop ranting now. Q...I can relate to much of what you say, mostly your last paragraph, and everyone's comments tooo...being a Sag sun, Aqua moon, Libra Venus, Scorpio Merc, Sag Ascendant and Sag Mars, - I'm also very open-minded, being able to see all sides of a situation. I make the effort to get along with everyone, respect everyone else's opinions and comments, but sometimes am on the receiving end of their attitudes, it's like - well here then, if you understand so well, have some of MY attitude...I'm like, ok God, get me out of here and then I detach...am misunderstood most of the time...so can relate to the detachment and living in my head most of the time...I can so relate. Sometimes it's where I would rather be anyways. kisses

Q, Libra sun, Aqua moon here  I get along well with people irrespective of their status.
Sometimes i feel i am being used but i have no complaints since it was with my consent

Hey Q, yeah I really agree with the bit about being perceived as "flaky", I wrote a rant about it a few months ago actually, using that very word. I agree that this world generally doesn't respect people who make a point of not being hard-headed about their opinions. Also, about living in your own mental world. I don't know if I would call mine more refined, but it's definitely nutty and detached. And yeah, I've got loads of air in my chart, I'm sure that's it (especially the Aqua stellium!)  you have a thing about making support groups don't you, lol.. didn't you want a Uranus conjuct asc. support group recently? Heh, no. I don't. Sounds like fun though. ohh yeah. Haha, but no, seriously. I have Aries Sun, and Sagittarius moon. People either seem to absolutely love me, or just absolutely hate me. I think some people are surprised when they get past my Virgo Asc. though. :-P HahahahaIP: Logged |

Hi guys, Libra Sun & Ascendant + Aqua Moon here!! Yes, yes, yes, I can relate to all youīre saying. To make a looooong story short I would say the pluses of these AWESOME (LOL) combo are Understanding, non interference in peoples lives ( out of respect of peoples freedom and free will) and Tolerance. Thatīs how I see it and how I feel. On the minus side, Iīve often realized that people can take all that as Lack of Interest or Lack of Empathy. Why,oh why, do I wonder? How can they not see that I care a lot, but maybe in a different way?
I donīt feel especially used or abused, although itīs true that I tend to please so as to keep the harmony...

I have a friend with these placements....Yeah, he gets along pretty well with everyone, but he does get used. He is very immature, and wears rose colored glasses, which makes him very irresponsible. I'm not trying to talk bad about him, I love this guy like my own brother, but I'm just using my blunt Virgo analitycal skills to point out the bad things I think are caused by these placements.
The good things, are that he is fair, loving, respectful, individualistic...etc. IP: Logged |

Q, BlueTopaz and elemiah~I am so with you guys. I am a Cancer Sun, Cap mooner with a Sagitarian Asc and it isnt easy. My friends are all extremely different and I try and avoid getting them all together because its like they all want a piece of me. I constantly trying and sdatisfy everyboyd except myself and I really dont know why. I am liked, though not respected as a result of all you ahve mentioned. I tell everyone my train of thought and instead of seeing my actions, I'm judged on my words and then I am 'flaky'. Ha!
I see all sides to things logically, and then see al sides to things irrationally (must of the time actually ). And I am not at all judgemental. But I'm never just left to be, in the way that I let others. These days I am exhausted, but still strive to 'keep up' because I have met wonderful people. thing is, I meet wonderful people all the time. I constantly ask myself, 'How hard is it to be selfish?'.
