Thank you for all of your posting on the Pluto in the houses...each one of them has been utterly fascinating and one of the better reads I have seen/read in a while! So much of the information has been 'spot on'!! (Is that a British or Aussie saying?)

It would be most appreciated if you would be kind enough to post Pluto in the 6th house...Thanks in advance!

Warm Regards-

Already done: it's over in this thread os soozi's..... http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/005653.html

Ya know, posting all those was really enlightening for me too (since I had to proofread all of them after running the text-recognition software on the book!) -- and the fact that others got a lot out of them makes me very happy!
C'mon back here -- would like to hear what you think after you've read it!!

Hey-Thanks 'Zala!! Sorry I missed that one!!

Hi Steel...Glad to hear from you as well!! I have been out of town for nearly a month...been dancing my sensual Argentine Tango with the World's top dancers for several weeks and then on a Carribean family cruise...just returned this week!! Tough life I know...ha,ha!!

So the truth...the dancing feeds my soul...specifically Argentine Tango. (Not to be confused with the Ballroom style tango seen on TV of late). Much more spiritually connected and far more difficult!

The cruise with my chauvanistic father, my three younger brothers (who metamorphed into mini-chauvanistics), my Step-mom (epitome of 1950s mentality-the man knows all, just do as he says) and my 10yo niece (too cute!). I have been releasing/purging myself of the negative feelings from being thrown back into a dysfunctional family dynamic where emotional abuse is heaped on the women. My step-mother tolerates it..I, OTOH, feel disgusted and embarrassed by how these drunk idiots acted towards me in public. Any defending of myself during this week seemed to make it worse so I held it all inside. Whew...finally I get the chance to release it! It does a real number on my Scorp Rising and Cancer Moon.

I came home to my 39th Birthday this past Monday 6/20. Another reminder of my other challenge in life-my Scorp Mother. Last year I did not have a cake with either parent-even though I celebrated my BDay at both homes. So I respectfully requested a vanilla cake with buttercream frosting (my niece was excited to celebrate my BDAY! Candles and cake-OH MY!!).

True to my mother's self-interests, she didn't get a cake. She said that she knew I wanted the vanilla cake but SHE wanted chocolate so she changed everything to meet her desires. What is with that? She knew I had a rough time on the cruise and just laughed..."Oh, now you know what I was married to for 13 years!!" Thanks for the empathy Mom...Also-Thanks for your crappy choice of men Mom...here I am stuck with a chauvanistic father in my life FOREVER!!

So...there you have it...just been calmiong down this week...wondering who or how many people I must've "f'd over" in my last life to deserve such treatment!! Ha,ha...

Now....back to my peaceful and lovely REAL life that I have created for myself. Nice music, beautiful home, good friends who are loving and supportive, LLand.... Who needs anything more??

Glad to be back!
I will take a perusal on the link 'Zala-Thanks!

Warm Hugs to Everyone!

GemStar ~

A belated Happy Birthday to you (and 39 is the age you will stay at for the next ten years, right?!?). The next one's just a number anyway -- I have never felt a day over 25 in my mind or heart, even though the body has seen a lot more mileage than that.....

Good Heavens, what a trial you've been through with your family! I unconsiously grit/grind my teeth when I hear about people who still live the 50's mentality you speak of (the June Cleaver/man is the boss values)!! Am sorry to hear about your bio mom -- it's YOUR birthday but she gets the kind of cake SHE likes??? Jeez, what a stifling ego hers must have been to grow up with -- how did you escape it, emotionally and physically?

As for "just been calmiong down this week...wondering who or how many people I must've "f'd over" in my last life to deserve such treatment!! Ha,ha..." my feeling is that on The Other Side, before we incarnate into another fleshly vehicle, we plan what we want to learn, and so give ourselves the astro-placements and put ourselves into the orbits of people that we need to learn lessons from. Yes I believe karma plays a part too, but reading your post I don't get a vibe that you "f*d over" a lot of people and it's now coming back to haunt you.....Pisces Moon/Pluto in XII on duty!!

Well, hope to hear back from you soon about your take on Steven Forrest.....

Sorry, I shouldn’t be laughing, but you are so funny when you tell stories… It doesn’t matter how saddening the truth behind them is…

My sister is also a 20th of June lady… My dad is also a Capricorn… And yes!!! He is such a chauvinistic thing! My sister clashes with him constantly… She is such a free-spirit… My mother is a Scorp (WOW!!! How many coincidences can we get!!!) but she has got to the other extreme to cope with my dad… Self-denial and servility…

Glad you are back to peaceful normality. I also feel better away from my disfunctional family…

See you in LL!!!

Glad I made you laugh Steel!! So often it becomes comical...Life that is!!

Thanks for your empathy and hugs 'Zala...much appreciated! The S. Forrest on the 6th house was interesting. I have 10th Pluto and loved the imagery that certain sections spelled out in that chapter.

With the 6th house, I will have to delve further into layers with my friend. He is ALL about responsiblity and lost his main mentor (his mother) at age 15. Me-being quite the Plutonian personality blends well with him. Although he is 11 years older, he has come to rely on my thoughts and guidance in unexpected ways.

He works in medicine and LOVEs his work. Always helping people...but often insensitive. The description of him with his co-workers (other article?) is spot-on and his dedication is fierce.

Responsibility at his own personal expense/cost is a huge theme for him. I am not sure how to talk with him about balance because he feels so compelled that he should sacrifice all for everyone else. (PIS Asc and PIS Moon). I will have to think about how to tackle that one with him.

Let's see...abandonment seems to be a hidden issue with him...mom dying at an early age may have something to do with that. Likes to be a leader-wants to rub shoulders with those in command. Secretly resents authority yet is passive to it. Excels in his field...

He has some humility although reveals it sparingly. Doesn't let too many people 'in' at all...very social, not outwardly intimate though. Doesn't talk about himself on a personal level. That gets into other astrological aspects though.

Mostly, I am wondering how the Pluto in 6th square his Venus in 3rd plays out. Difficulties for sure...any thoughts?

Take care-
Hugs-

How did I miss your commments on Karma 'Zala?? Hmmm....

Well, truth be known, I agree that our souls 'choose' the family that we are placed in...I get the feeling that it is not always/only about having to 'learn' something during that life, yet also may be 'teaching' during that lifetime as well. Throughout my life, I can say that because of my challenges within my family, my closest friends have learned so much!

It never ceases to amaze me when they remember a certain story (long forgotten by me or buried deep in my sub-memory) that impacted them on some level. My pain conveyed an indelible memory in them so that their choices further down the road of life were more carefully selected. Does this make sense?

It shocks me at times really.

And it is through their families that I felt satisfied that I knew the difference of what was OK and not OK. It gave me relief to know that my intuition was not wrong when I instinctually felt that my family was not so loving-even though they felt they were the best around...typical abusive statement of "It doesn't get any better than this girlie...you better appreciate what you have!" Hmmm.....thankfully my intellect and intution never lets me down...Whew! (Also highlighting the 'careful what you buy into' 10th house Pluto theory.)

So Karma-wise...I don't truly think I screwed anyone over in prior lifetimes...it just feels like running through a steel-sworded gauntlet once again!

Ta-Da....made it!! (She runs off galloping away in glee as the Sun returns her sunshine smiles and rains gentle reminders of love upon her beaten up and bruised soul...)

I remain...a FIRE HORSE-Chinese astro June 1966

Wow GemStar!

I would love to have a long, long conversation with you sometime!!

”I get the feeling that it is not always/only about having to 'learn' something during that life, yet also may be 'teaching' during that lifetime as well.” I agree – we are ALL both Teacher and Student on this plane of existence. That’s why I believe it’s so important to be open to others and not come at anyone with preconceived notions or standards. I choose to learn from everyone I touch, an old quote comes to mind “even if it is reflected in a muddy puddle, it is still the Sun”. There are very few places I will not venture in order to satisfy my insatiable curiosity and thirst for knowledge and understanding.

”It never ceases to amaze me when they remember a certain story (long forgotten by me or buried deep in my sub-memory) that impacted them on some level. My pain conveyed an indelible memory in them so that their choices further down the road of life were more carefully selected. Does this make sense?” Of course it makes sense to this Pisces Moon! And it isn’t just pain that causes others to remember something we’ve said that affected them and caused them to make a more careful choice (PS: really like your choice of words, you are so articulate!). Anything that is communicated with passion can leave its traces with others……..

Your friend sounds fascinating – is his Pisces Moon in the 12th (wondering because of the abandonment issues)? Does he therefore have Pluto in Leo or Virgo in the 6th? Curious because of the striking theme of “Service” to others at great expense to Self…….As for the Pluto in 6/Venus in 3 blend, what an interesting synergy! The Venus in 3 “charms with ideas” and the Pluto in 6 with service to the world, the real trench wars…….

Thanks for your thoughful and thought-provoking responses!

And I remain a Water Snake (sssss), out of the water temporarily, slithering off to bask in the Sunshine for awhile before heading back to the depths of the sea…….

Hey 'Zala...a water snake eh?? Cool....Ssssuper!

My Friend's Pis Moon 16 is in the First. Currently Uranus is transiting exact his Ascendant 10'43. Wondering what 'unexpected' events will change his life...

His Pluto is in Leo (24'38) in the 6th. His Sun is in Gemini and we get along so well. We talk about everything you can imagine!! He calls evey day for our hourly-plus discussions as we try and figure out the psychology of the happenings that day! I have never met someone (a man) who liked to talk so much!! Especially someone who is so private.

Now...there is an intimacy and trust which has grown from me 'seeing' past that Pisces shield of self-protection. I am part of his 'ritual' every day...he calls nearly the same time each day and clears his schedule so that we can be un-interrupted for at least an hour or so....amazing from a guy who is one of the busiest specialist physicians I know...that routine is important to him I imagine. (Myself as well!)Fits the 6th house 'routine' thing.

The responsibility of the 6th house Pluto weighs him down at times I think. Maybe that is how the 3rd House Venus square Pluto in 6th fits the bill. Inability to let go of difficult relationships due to feeling of responsibility...Hmm...that makes sense to me!! He has attracted uncaring women in his life and seems to fit that Pisces inability to let go of a bad situation...have you ever had that happen 'Zala?

One interesting note...towards the bottom of the 6th Pluto article, it discusses being open to the flow of things between that 6th Pluto person and another....letting the flow 'inside'of oneself. WOW...that made a great deal of sense!!

The most interesting thing that I was reminded of again yesterday during a marathon 2-hour discussion were his 'words'. So often I hear him use a particular word that I USE frequently...somehow it enters into his way of thinking and speaking...

Ex. the word 'adore'. Not many men I know use the word adore...I use it when I describe something he has done that I liked...I will say: "I just adore you when..." He used it in a sentence yesterday about something. It happens all of the time...he repeats lots of thought processes and words that I may have mentioned!! Unusual ones that are unique to my vocabulary. It soon becomes part of him. Wow. It gives me a jolt every time this mirrored effect happens. More though-it shows the ability, once one is connected and trust has been built-to allow the flow of another person into our souls. Pretty cool I think!!

There was a few interesting sections in the Pluto 7th house on intimacy that I really thought were great!! My Virgo Pluto falls into his 7th house and I wonder if that influence works towards drawing out particular effects within the synastry.

Intimacy is reached once Trust is enacted. A slowing down in one's busy work day to allow it to happen...very special to see the miracle of opening up from my work-oriented friend, who has always been a unique individual (Uranus 5th) yet seemingly unreachable on a personal level. To me, it has been a great accomplishment to help someone open up and allow the flow to enter.

So-that is my synopsis of his Pluto in 6th-COMBINED with a synastry aspect of my Pluto falling into his 7th house-thereby influencing on additional levels. What do you think of that???

Hugs-
