I was thinking about how the ruler of the ascendent is thought to be one of the strongest enrgies in a chart. Mine is ruled by Jupiter in Leo (8), and I don't see anything Lion about me. As for Jupiter, being a Sag sun with a Sag stellium in the 1st lol easy to see that connection.
I have Saturn in Virgo in the 9th, the house of Sagi. I do display a lot of Saturn traits, so I concluded maybe Saturn is just as strong as Jupiter as far out as they may sound.

Hmm...I'm a Virgo rising, and my Mercury is in Taurus in the 8th house. It doesn't really fit too well. The 8th house part. I don't usually sit back and watch in social situations. I'm right out there being a dipsh1t with everyone else. I can't analyze a situation to save my life, either. :-P

I'm not sure how much influence the Chart Ruler has, though...I think it depends on how it's aspected, and where it's placed. My Mercury's kinda weak, being in Taurus and in the 8th, I think. It has an opposition with Pluto, too. :-/

Here's my take on this: This won't mean that you will sit back and observe situations, especially if your sun is in air or fire. My interpretation of this is that you will be put in situations where you will have to think strongly about sex and its consequences, and you will find sex strongly connected to finances/security as you age. Your virgo rising is made more earth by mercuries presence in taurus, I don't know how old you are, but with time you will become very practical, shrewd, and level headed, and you'll be able to discuss intense matters such as death and sex with extreme maturity. You will understand all too well the connection between death and sex, and the cycles of life. You're a good capitalist

My sun is in Aries in the 7th, and my moon is in Sagittarius in the 3rd, though. I also have my Mars in Aquarius in the 5th. :-P Libra dominates my first house. Haha, so maybe I need to look at Venus instead? Lmfao. It's just as reclusive-ish. In Pisces in the 6th.

But, I have about a mind for business as I do my cat's sh1t. I'm the least practical person I know.

my ruler is Venus (libra rising) in Aries/7th.

Appearance-wise, and also in the way that I Dress, the way I carry myself, talk, seems very Libra unless I get very close to someone either conversationally or emotionally (then I become my Gem sun/scorp moon self lol). Also, I like to be argumentative to a point, but usually I am a peacekeeper, Im a big proponent of getting along, world peace, etc, although I Think that is one of the things that I DO strike balance in very well (when to be aggressive, when to be compromising).

I love food and I love cooking too, and decorating and making things look beautiful and organized I dont know if thats necessarily a Libra thing but it might come with Venus being the ruler. I dont like appearing or acting unfeminine...

my chart ruler is venus (libra rising) but i have nothing in my 7th house...i have sun/venus/pluto all in scorpio in the 1st house..

so i guess my chart ruler is pretty scorpionic
