Hello,

I think it would be great to have a forum dedicated to magiastrology. It seems like something Linda would have liked to explore.

Aside from that, my question relates to Chiron. I have been single for over 2 years now, and I JUST noticed that Chiron has been transiting my 7th for almost 3 years...I think I broke up with my ex right at 18 degrees cappy. My 7th begins on 14 degrees cappy and ends at 4 degrees ( I think) aqua.

Can anyone help me with understanding Chiron in the houses esp. the 7th. And I do not have any other planets in the 7th. Natally Chiron is 25 Aries in my 10th.

I also have venus and asc. and saturn all in cancer which makes it difficult to be without someone to love. Although I do well, and fill that space with work and friends and fun...it gets old after awhile. But I just don't settle very easily until something special comes along : ) And it has not happened in awhile.

thanks!!!!!!

Well Chiron is now at zero degrees Aquarius, so I hope relief is in sight for you. Chiron is complicated, I have a lot of trouble understanding it myself. As you may already know, it's said that it represents the place where we have been deeply wounded, to the very core- and also where we turn to others and help them heal, using the wisdom gained from our own pain, our "unhealable" wounds.

Here is a good article about Chiron.

and from http://www.moonsweb.com/ast/chiron.shtml:

Chiron in Libra/7th house
...indicates some kind of wounding or rejection in relationships. They only feel balanced with a partner and the partner is the problem. These are the people that don't like to be alone, so they get a partner out of desperation and it is usually someone who is not good for them. They need to define strong boundaries between themselves and loved ones to prevent or stop a cycle of codependency or abuse.

and since you provided the degrees so generously, I thought I would share with you the Sabian symbols for those degrees:
For when you broke up with your ex:
A CHILD OF ABOUT FIVE CARRYING A HUGE SHOPPING BAG FILLED WITH GROCERIES

You may feel that you have been lumbered with responsibilities beyond your normal expectations and possibly beyond your capability. Despite being keen and enthusiastic, you must be careful not to try to do too much (in the situation), too quickly. You need to play, be creative and rest as well. If you can find this balance, you will achieve a lot.
Growing up too fast. Being weighed down with the responsibilities of the situation. Taking on things above and beyond what one should.

The Caution: Overloading the innocent and the inexperienced without thought to the consequences. Taking on too much.

and for your natal Chiron:
A MAN POSSESSED OF MORE GIFTS THAN HE CAN HOLD

Recognize that you are surrounded by abundance, but you are unable to experience it all at once. If you don't feel you have the ability to cope then look in your `storehouse' and you will be surprised at what talents you have that have never even been used.
Potentiality. Obsessions about 'having things' or achieving goals. Counting one's blessings. Being a jack of all trades.

The Caution: Not being able to focus on one issue at a time, or ideas of real worth, therefore not really achieving anything. Inability to gain or contain everything that is desired. Ambition that knows no bounds.

Golly gee!! Love you guys!!! Thanks so much for the responses.
Mr. White Rabbit
the sabian symbols intrigued me. Where did you learn about them, and what do they mean? If you have time to respond I would love to know.

In regards to what you said about the 18 deg and breaking up with the ex...it's true, I did have to let go and have some fun, which is what I have been trying to do.
In regards to my natal degree of chiron. It is very hard to focus on what I want...Somedays I am consumed with ambition and other days I am content to just be...unfortunately those two energies have not yet combined within me.

thankyou!
