Where's my Saturn transiting? The post about Saturn being in Leo until 9/07 has made me wonder. If there's a site that'll tell me where mine is please share it with me. I'm extra curious to know because Saturn is the ruler of my chart - Capricorn is my rising sign. IP: Logged |

AAA ~How's the Moon/Neptune/Pluto Yod treatin' ya?!? You can do this at www.astro.com. You've set yourself up there already, haven't you? In the Extended Chart Selection section, "Please select the type of chart you want" dropdown box, choose the 9th one down the list -- Natal chart and transits. Down in the grid it will list natal positions vs transit positions..... I still have your chart -- Chronos is at the beginning of a long trek thru your 7th house. 'Zala IP: Logged |

I'm set up there. Thanks for tellin' me about the transit chart... I never noticed it before. What's "Chronos"? Are you talking about my Saturn? I looked at my chart, and yes, it does seem like it's in the 7th now, but I'm sure if you mean something else when you say "Chronos"...

Hi Angel ~The Romans called him Saturn, the Greeks called him Chronos (Father Time)..... The Yod is not an easy pattern -- even though the base is a sextile, the legs are quincunxes, which is what has been called a "hard" or challenging aspect..... 'Zala IP: Logged |

Oh!... That's a nice tidbit. At first I thought you accidently mispelled "Chiron" or something. lolIP: Logged |

Angel ~There is always method to my madness..... 'Z PS: When you run the transit chart, you can also put in any date you wish to have the transits for, either going back into the past or ahead into the future. You may wish to find the dates when Saturn will be at his most pesky (which will be just before and just after tickling some of your natal positions) -- such as tSaturn squaring your nPluto (natal Pluto position). A couple more degrees and you'll start feeling the effects of the square (your nPluto at 5 Scorpio and Saturn being at 0 Leo now). tSaturn will be trining nSaturn when it gets to 5 Leo or so. Now that you know what aspects Saturn is going to make, you can start looking up the interps for transiting to natal planets. I have a wonderful book by Robert Hand (or is it Robert Pelletier?) on that subject..... IP: Logged |
