So I thought I would ask this...a little observation of mine. I noticed that a lot of Taurus moons (like me) enjoy music, but let's go deeper, what kind of music? Soft? Loud? Classical? Opera? New Age (Vas,...etc). Why is it people who have fire in their charts enjoy the volume on MAX, some totally mind-numbing rock drums and do the head bang while driving ( A leo friend does that! - but with Leos I have to ask if it is the attention?  And then, movie genres, Horror? Comedy? Adventure? What about Art? Paintings? abstract art, impressionism? Surrealism? Fauvism? So let's do this: Music Genre, Film Genre, Favorite art schools/painters with your Sun/Moon/Asc. Alternative, New Age, Classical
Musicals, Horror (i watch it for the art, I am serious  , Historical Epics (all those lush costumes) oooooh

Music Genre: Classical, Jazz, Contemporary with highly evolved meaningful lyrics.Film Genre: Dramatic and Foreign with an emphasis on serious issues, love and death, longing and redemption. I like extreme complexity in character. I like feeling empathy for otherwise seemingly unredeemable characters. Movies like Crimes and Misdemeanors, Chinatown, and the one where Tom Hanks plays the hitman. I ached when Al Pacino attempted to turn his life around in the final Godfather but was met ironically by the death his daughter. Since pregnancy and childbearing, I cannot watch horror movies of any kind. I also cannot watch movies where children are molested or women overtly brutalized or made to sexually service others. I love witty Black comedies and documentaries like Mad Hot Ballroom, Spellbound. I like to cry or laugh very hard in the movies. Favorite art: Impressionism. Also Van Gogh, Gaughin, Matisse and Picasso's Blue Period pieces. Gemini Sun (0 degrees!)/ Taurus Venus /Moon Aries/ Rising Sag /Neptune Singleton in Scorpio! --defying my chart at every turn.... I love all types of music. Especially new age and alternative.
new age being # 1.
i love groups like enigma and delerium. And 1000s of others LOL.

Hm...I mostly like Top-40 type stuff.I love horror films. And science fiction films. Haha I like pretty much all art, though. Aries Sun

Music Genre: Punkish wacky rock, trip-hop, and a special place in my heart reserved just for Leonard Cohen.
Film Genre: I love Bergman. What genre would that be? I don't know, genre-less films I guess. Anything brilliant.
Favorite art schools/painters: I love Goya. I guess he's Romantic, but it's not the genre, it's him that I love. I also like Art Nouveau and Egon Schiele's drawings. Sun Aquarius/Moon Leo/Ascendant Libra

Music - Metal, Rock N Roll, Grunge, and Blues. And I always get "Turn it Down!" from my parents, (Yes, I still live with my parents - I'm 15, well, almost 16.) But it has to be good, with good lyrics, guitar, and a good singer. I won't just stick some loud and annoying band in the CD player unless I'm really in the mood for it.Movies - Comedies, I don't really care as long as it's halfway funny. Or a movie with a lot of things blowing up and some fighting.  Art - ? Can't really say. I taught myself how to paint and haven't really paid much attention to what other people do. I do like paintings that go a looong way back though, or those cartoon-like drawings like at the fair. Virgo Sun (0 degrees and 6 minutes!) Taurus Moon and Taurus Ascendant. It seems I'd be more mellow, looking at my chart. But in Vedic/Sidereal astrology I have a Leo Sun, Leo Mars, Aries Moon and a Taurus Ascendant. It makes a little more sense.

Sun Virgo 7th house/ Moon Leo 7th house/ ASC AquariusMusic: Rock, mostly classic. Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Cream, You know.... Some newer stuff, Nickelback....wait, they aren't too new either.... and less heavy...like coldplay, and I like some blues, Jazz, and folk stuff too.
Movies: Comedy for the most part...anything with Adam Sandler, Monty Python...etc. The best movie I've ever seen was a hard core drama though, whice I rarely like. It was the 'Color Purple'.
Art: Surrealisim, Impressionisim, Fantasy, and I like things with people in natural poses, like doing needlework, or walking, or something too.
Favorite painter is Salvador Dali.
I don't like Picasso at all.
