From Yasmin Boland's Moon Meditations..... quote: Hmm - is Mercury retrograde? Yes it is! That's why you are getting not one but TWO Skywatches this week - that's all I'm saying ... xxSKYWATCH fire in the sky July 24, 2005 The skies are conspiring to form a rather risky series of planetary alignments this week. Most crucially, Venus opposes Uranus - a combo that is downright combustible if you're involved in a relationship which is already at a flashpoint. Venus/Uranus is about surprises in love, and not all of them good ones. It's about losing your temper with your lover, sudden reversals in romance, volatile love moments and generally radical relationships. Venus/Uranus wants more space, freedom and the right to do things its own way, regardless of what the rest of the world thinks. Venus/Uranus has little regard for others' feelings. It's far too rash for that. Just because you want monogamy, for example, doesn't mean everyone else does? Venus/ Uranus is unconventional in the extreme, downright kinky and experimental. Moreover, the Venus/Uranus link takes place under a garrulous Gemini Moon. There's absolutely nothing wrong with a Gemini Moon - it will just make us all more likely to actually voice our (probably highly emotional) feelings. Also this week comes a tough Mars/Chiron link. This can see us pushing ahead for our own ends without a thought for how our actions are hurting someone else. Or it can see someone else being determined to do things their way without a thought for how that's making us feel. Mars/Chiron can also see us imagining that we're being challenged when we're not, or that we have competition which just isn't there. There's no doubt this week is potentially tricky. If you're involved in a situation which is already teetering on the edge of disaster, it's crucial to proceed with care. If you know you won't be able to stay cool, stay home and listen to some soothing music. It's one of those weeks when you could find yourself saying things you wish you could take back but can't. The energies are calmer at the start of the week and build to a crescendo by next weekend. The signs most affected by the Venus/Uranus alignments will be Pisceans and Virgos, Geminis and Sagittarians. Mars/Chiron will be felt most strongly by Aquarians and Aries. And the good news? Next week's New Moon will give us all a chance to start again, if we don't manage to hold it all together this week. Phew!
And..... quote: Skywatch Under pressure This is the first full week with the mighty planet Saturn in the sign of Leo. Some of us are starting to feel his pressure, while others are due for some blessed relief. Here's a rundown of how his move affects us all: Aries - pressure off. You'll be a lot less likely to take risky gambles over the next two years. Taurus - pressure on. A great time to buy real estate if you're thinking long-term. Gemini - neutral pressure. Any hard work you've put into securing your financial future since 2003starts to pay dividends. Cancer - pressure off. At last you can relax. Make sure any cash plans you have are not based on "get-rich-quick" schemes. Leo - pressure on. A lot of the psychological conundrums you've dealt with recently start to be resolved. But there's no denying you now have to work like a dog. Virgo - neutral pressure. Make up with any friends you've been too harsh with over the past two years. Get serious about your spirituality. Libra - pressure off. The hard work of the past two years starts to show results. Be kind to the friends who helped you make it through the tough times. Scorpio - pressure on. Saturn in your work zone promises greater responsibility and promotions for Scorpios who rise to the coming challenges. Sagittarius - neutral pressure. Your view of the world is about to become a whole lot more grown-up. Excellent conditions for study and self-development. Capricorn - pressure off. Relationships which survived the past two years are built to last. Aquarius - pressure on. You're about to learn what it means to really commit to someone. Lessons come via love between now and 2007. Pisces - pressure off. It's time to remember how to enjoy yourself. If you've just read that you've got the pressure on, try not to panic! Saturn's weight really can help us exceed our own expectations re what we're capable of.

Zohe ~I'm really just a neophyte at interps (pixie, pidaua, 26T, you around?), but on these Sun-sign general predictions, I think they place your sun on the Asc, which means Saturn would just be starting its transit of your 7th house of partnerships..... 'Zala IP: Logged |

Thanks for that info Azalaksh "Venus/Uranus is about surprises in love, and not all of them good ones. It's about losing your temper with your lover, sudden reversals in romance, volatile love moments and generally radical relationships...The signs most affected by the Venus/Uranus alignments will be Pisceans and Virgos, Geminis and Sagittarians." Ack..as a Virgo I'm apparently going to be affected by that transit. And especially so in the realm of relationships as Uranus is transiting my 1st House and Venus is transiting my 7th House. Hi Zohe, You are about to enter a Saturn (Leo) opposition (your Sun- Aquarius). I went through this when Saturn was in Gemini. I am not sure what house your Sun is in, but look to that house for some major changes. Also look to the house where Saturn is current transiting. Saturn is about authority figures and lessons. It is about the foundations you have laid and now those foundations will be tested. For me, Saturn was transiting my 9th and 10th house opposing my Sun in the 4th house. I dealt with crazy issues at work- no matter what I seemed to do, there was always some major obstacle to overcome - mostly in the form of bosses. I had three new bosses during that two-year transit and my CEO went a bit senile. It seemed to take forever to get ahead. I was fortunate that I had not taken any short cuts and made it through even the harshest testing of my character and my work. My home life changed, I got divorced and moved into my own place- which was a trial in itself LOL.. (I had a total Saturn butt kicking though, it went from my Saturn return, to the opposition and then into Saturn in Cancer which completed my natal T-square... SO MANY LESSONS). I like to look at bobmarksastrologer.com for information on those Saturn transits. If you have any other questions... please feel free to let me know. I'd be interested to learn about the house Saturn is transiting and the location of your sun. Take care, ~Pidaua I should add...that week of July 24th is the week Mr taurus and I decided to break up. We are both affected by the Venus / Uranus opposition (I am a Sag Sun / Sag Venus / Mars in Pisces - Virgo rising conjunct Pluto)
Mr. T is a Taurus Sun / Taurus rising, Virgo moon / Mars in Pisces and Merc in Gemini. Needless to say - we FELT those transits... but never fear them because what is washed away or broken down is necessary. It brings in something new and something better in your life and that is the major lesson IP: Logged |

Hiya Pid ~I'm saddened to hear of the demise of your relationship with Mr T, but better to discover the irreconcilable differences now. I never stop trusting in the Universe to bring me what I need to learn and grow, but sometimes that growth can be pretty doggone painful..... {{hugs}} 'Zala IP: Logged |

Thanks Zala, You're right - learning lessons is always hard, but necessary to grow as a person. I am saddened by the loss, but (ever the Centaur-girl) I am eager for the future and what it will bring. Sort of like a light at the end of the tunnel. Astrologically - well not that anything is set in stone - but we had the chance to work on our difficulties that we saw in our synastry and composite charts. It takes two people to acknowledge the strengths and weaknesses in a relationship. When one person is absolutely unwilling to admit could be problems, well then the problems manifest on a larger scale. I only hope that in time our wounds will heal, mine started a while back when I realized certain behaviours - truthfully, I believe he will have a harder time since he won't admit any fault of his own. In the end... I am free LOL.... Lots of love to you, ~Pidaua IP: Logged |
