we talk about songs and music and try to understand what sign likes what. the poem one like, i think, also represents the spirit of a person and his deepest desires, joys, sorrows, passions, etc...

i have 5 planets in sagittarius and my fav. is this...

"Stopping by the woods on a snowy evening."
-Robert Frost.
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep

post ur fav. poem here...

quote:
Emily Dickinson wrote:
Because I could not stop for Death --
He kindly stopped for me --
The Carriage held but just Ourselves --
And Immortality.

We slowly drove -- He knew no haste
And I had put away
My labor and my leisure too,
For His Civility --

We passed the School, where Children strove
At Recess -- in the Ring --
We passed the Fields of Gazing Grain --
We passed the Setting Sun --

Or rather -- He passed Us --
The Dews drew quivering and chill --
For only Gossamer, my Gown --
My Tippet -- only Tulle --

We paused before a House that seemed
A Swelling of the Ground --
The Roof was scarcely visible --
The Cornice -- but a Mound --

Since then -- 'tis Centuries -- and yet
Feels shorter than the Day
I first surmised the Horses' Heads
Were toward Eternity --

I have 4 planets (and my Ascendant) in Earth, 3 planets in Water, both Luminaries in Fire, and 1 planet (and my MC) in Air.

Archer, I love Robert Frost, he somehow captures the feeling of being in nature perfectly with words alone. Something most saggies can appreciate i'm sure.

I thought of Saggies yesterday when, "Roam," from the B-52s was on the radio.

I near a wind
Whistling air
Whispering in my ear
Boy Mercury shootin' through every degree
OOO girl dancin' down those dirty and dusty trails
Take it hip to hip rocket through the wilderness
Around the world the trip begins with a kiss

Roam if you want to
Roam around the world
Roam if you want to
Without wings, without wheels
Roam if you want to
Without anything but the love we feel

Skip the air-strip for the sunset
Ride the arrow for the target---One
Take it hip to hip rock it through the wilderness
Around the world the trip begins with a kiss

Chorus

Fly the great big sky
See the great big sea
Kick through continents
Bustin' boundaries
Take it hip to hip rocket through the wilderness
Around the world the trip begins with a kiss

Chorus

Take it hip to hip
Rocket through the wilderness
------------------------------------

Are they into astrology?

actually, frost uses the simplest language possible. he must be having some sag or aries placements for the poem he wrote. oh yeah, he was an aries!

I like PixelPixie best!!!!

I am not in the same place you are
on this island of bliss
though I vacation there
it doesn't feel as home to me
as it used to be
I bought a time share
but don't use it much
guiltily
Doesn't seem right that it
should take so much thought
or work
Should just be known...
(I don't even know what a 'should' looks like)
There are no quick fixes on the island I share
No mending solder or sutures there
or balm to ease the ache I feel
when the difference feels much too real
to venture out and share your cloud
shut out the noises who love a crowd
when I know that I could leave this fate
sell the time share by the going rate
But the going feels too much like hate
and I love too much
so I shall wait

The wind is so windy,
cloud is so cloudy,
rain is so rainy,
sun is so sunny,
This is poetry....

OMG do I suck! All those hours of studying has done this to me....
