Interesting article -- thanks Dragon! Some quotes I found that resonated:[Transiting planetary] energy doesn't always produce events. The simple truth is that sometimes nothing at all happens, sometimes there is personal growth but no event, and sometimes there is an event. The level of evolution of the person is another indicator of events. A more evolved spirit will participate in the energy as it passes and will get an insight or a great realization that spurs personal growth. Thus, no event is needed. Remember always that the magnitude of the transit will match the speed of the planet. There is no lunar transit that will produce a huge event. The Moon's transits are like your breath, a steady rhythm of life flowing in and out but nothing worth writing home about. A Mercury transit doesn't do much either. Venus transits are nice, and sometimes trigger a bigger event, assuming there is a planetary configuration already in place..... ...it's imporatant always to remember that nothing is written in stone. There is no single energy pattern that will always produce a specific event. The article also mentions the importance of taking a look at progressed charts, which is something I have not explored in depth.....now added to the reading list! Cool! 'Zala IP: Logged |

Hiya GemPearl, how're ya doing?? quote: it is fantastic to see more 'astrology' related topics being shared here at LLand!!
Yeah, my sentiments exactly. My thanks to Prof Dragon for trying to ramp up the tone here from such things as "I'm leaving because there's too much relationship stuff". Yet when serious stuff is posted, where are they????? I know, it takes a lot of energy and commitment to work on self-development..... Mme Z IP: Logged |

Hi Happy Dragon. I am not an astrologer. I had my chart done and a yearly forecast done a couple of months ago. In the forecast this astrologer predicted that I would change my job in July. It happened and was almost out of my control. He also predicted that a male friend would cause a huge disapointment in August and I should make a break away from him if I was ever to be happy. I am not involved with anyone??? but perhaps its my ex?? Are there some things in charts that are blatantly obvious or is nothing set in cement. I hope that this prediction is not going to happen.Cathy IP: Logged |
