Bruce,I would say that your attraction to older women may be due to having Venus (relationships) focused in the 10th house (duty, also responsibility). So you like to have relationships with a person who is responsible. Older women may seem to you to have the more structured, responsible approach to relationships than the younger women who are just beginning to understand the responsibilities in relationships. Saturine apsects in general can do this. I have Pisces moon in the 7th, but Pisces moons don't care much about any distinctions when it comes to attraction aside from some dergee of emotional/spiritual affinity. That's a nice way of saying we Lunar-Pisceans are easy. LOL. At any rate, I have Venus conjunct Saturn in the 9th and I am regularly attracted to older men, and specifically older, responibile men who has integrity and demonstrrate accountability (my current love interest is 9 years older than me and is very successful with his own business). So I'm thinking it's more about Saturn in general. 10th house apsects and placement probably just reinforcee thsi (I have a 10th house Sun-Merc conjunction). IP: Logged |

Hi BruceWayne I, too, have a 7th house moon and am usually very attracted to older men. Do you have any strong cappy/saturn influences in your chart? What's your moon/venus/mars in? ------------------ There are some days when no matter what I say it feels like I'm far away in another country & whoever is doing the translating has had far too much to drink. I am currently going steady with a moon in leo/7th house, and he does like young and flashy. But when he settles on someone she is organized and has "her priorities straight".He is a photographer and camera-man both freelance and with an ad agency. Then again he has Saturn/1st house so it's hard to tell. Pidua has moon in the 7th too, Pid are you around? Natasha Moon Cancer/8th Sun Taurus/6th Saturn Taurus/5th Venus Aries/5th IP: Logged |

Hi Nat, I have tried to e-mail you, but our e-mail is down here at work. I will be going home early (I have to drive to Phoenix for a class tomorrow) so I'll be able to check my AOL mail. Moon in the 7th house... Hmmm....I am not sure how much that figures into my choice of mate. I have moon in Aries conjunct Chiron. I don't know that I am so much attracted to younger or older men - just men that have a purpose. When I do get into a relationship I like to show that I care for them by doing things for them, but I also expect it in return. Power and purpose is a big plus for me. Someone that knows what they want out of life and they know how to get it (ethically - that is more important that power / money...etc.. they have to be honest and above reproach). I abhor liars - so no matter how much someone may spoil me-it will mean nothing if I find that they are deceptive in any way. I have Pluto conjunct Ascendant which may lend to the power / purpose thing. I don't want someone that I have to care for- meaning, be like their mommy. That is too much work for me and I am just getting out of a relationship where I felt I had to take care of his needs (which were immense - like a childs) as well as keep up the house, work an intense job and take care of my needs. There was just not enough time in a day. I found that in a relationship with someone that needs constant attention and to be babied, a whole nest of resentment builds - I also found myself physically exhausted most of the time - with the exception of when he was out of town. I have some harsh aspects to that moon in the 7th house -namely my Uranus in Libra singleton and Mercury in Capricorn. The Venus / Sun / Moon trine does help alleviate those stressful aspects, but at times it can be frustrating. In a relationship I like when two people can laugh and talk. No games, especially mind games - moon square mercury doesn't engage well with that type of activity and throw in Uranus and the tempers flare. Nat, like your Moon in Leo in the 7th house - I find that I like a man that is outgoing with very Martian qualities, but who can also leave that behind when it is the two of us. Does that make sense? Interesting thread guys! It is always Saturn to blame, isn't it! GeminiNymph: You said you have Venus conjunct Saturn, and you are attracted to older partners, but do YOU attract younger people? Maybe it works the opposite way, I am usually attracted to older people, not a pattern though, but I tend to attract younger ones all the time, and I don't have Venus Conjunct Saturn (They are Square) but I do have Saturn in the 1st house. Would be interesting to examine the reverse effect, Saturnian Vibes?

my moon is in 1st and saturn in 5th.as for being attarcted to older partners , i am not very sure , but ofcourse i have had normal crushes on older woman too .(the first one was chemistry teacher , though i hated the subject , ii loved her truly ) but well , i must add i am not sure if i would go for a fullfleged affair(me , being a traditional cancerian) though i cant deny it outright ( there always is a possibilty )
