How many of you Gems and Virgos (and anyone with significant Mercurial influence otherwise) really digs wearing hats?I was just thinking about this today. I love hats. Everyone else I know that likes wearing hats too are Mercurial (either Gem or Virgo influence, or both) as well. I know for myself, my Gem side likes hats because they're fun, they express personality/mood and unlike a haircut, you can take it off if it gets annoying or you're bored with it. They're also handy when I don't feel like dealing with my own hair. LOL. My Virgo side likes them because they are sophisticated and stylin' (well, most hats...I suppose clown hats aren't). And of course, they look neat when my hair doesn't.  I wish hats were more popular. Tell me a guy in a fedora doesn't look more intelligent. My guy was wearing a fedora when I met him - totally caught my eye. He's Virgo rising with Virgo Venus conjunct ASC and Mars in Gemini.

Haha, yeah. Ditto that. I have a thing for necklaces, though. I collect them, oddly enough.  I can never leave the house without a necklace. If someone told me I had to wear a hat everyday of my life, I think I'd cry... IP: Logged |

I've got a Virgo Moon and Gemini Rising, and I also enjoy hats. I'm not crazy about ball caps. I prefer hats with personality of design.IP: Logged |

I love my groovy sun hat but it really messes up my hair so I don't wear it very often. I also have a lovely velvet black hat with twin silk roses (one black, one burgundy) that looks dreamy. Yes, hats are cool. More people should wear them more often. IP: Logged |

I love love love hats.I have lots of hair so they suit me too.
I have many hats for all seasons, and continue to expland my collection.
I LOVE HATS!!!!
Not a smidge of Gemini in my chart, planet wise, but its my eleventh house.
I only have Virgo Eros and Psyche, Second house. I am artistic, I find artistic people, in my experience, like hats.. another way to express themselves? I love the unusual, classic.. whatever.. I know it when I see it, and I will usually buy it when I see it.  IP: Logged |

Hats are a passion of mine (hey, some women go for shoes, I go for millinery!); that said, I have a dearth of Gemini and Virgo in my chart. Perhaps, though, my Merc-Asc conjunction influences my taste in fashion more than I ever suspected.  IP: Logged |

yes i wear hats but not a variety of hats, just one or two..i'm not known for my cool hats or kooky personality or anything. i like my orange baseball cap or for the beach my roxy surfergirl weaved hat.. for working out or cruising around the park the nike visor is good cuz your head can sweat freely.i'm rather lazy and low maintenance about my hair so putting a hat on my head seems like a good thing to do, nearly every day. i think there is also a correlation between being shy and wearing hats. i don't feel as exposed and feel more anonymous. Hmmm...I never noticed that! But I tend to notice that people who are into hats and all are leaning towards Aquarius and Pisces placements. Plus, on the shy note, I think wearing a hat makes one more noticeable, especially if it is a stylish cool hat and even if it is not, what are the odds of one wearing a hat versus the many people who are not? But if it is the mercurial influence that is affecting the hat-wearing, metaphorically speaking, mercurials are hiding their thoughts from the public?! So are Aquas and Pisceans? I don't know. I don't have any Aqua ,Pisces in my chart except Gemini as my descendent. I love hats but I don't wear them too often the reason is same. TOO Hot or messes hair give too much attention.IP: Logged |

I love hats too! My favourite are berets- I have this beautiful red beret ($$$ it was an investment- yeah, this is where my money goes, a freakin hat) that I wore all winter. It makes me feel so magical and confident.  no Gem/Virgo in me, though.IP: Logged |

I'll wear a hat when I absolutely feel some need to but, definitly, don't have any kind of passion for them.... they give me a headache

I have a Libra friend that loves hats too.
I love men in hats...but no baseball caps!!

I love hats! (3rd house stellium, including Mercury. Gemini 11th house, Virgo 2nd)I have a large collection of STL Cardinal baseball caps. Also have a few sun hats. I wear a black hat to every funeral that I attend. Angela

I am a Virgo rising (pluto conjuncting Ascendant in the 1st house) and I am not really into hats.. but I LOVE my hair. Now, I will wear a baseball hat once in a while and I LOVE cowboy hats. Other than that.. I am not really a hat person it takes away from my flowing mane LMAO IP: Logged |

my sister is a gemini rising/gemini sun and has the largest hat collection i've ever seen. my mom is a cap sun/gemini moon...she never leaves the house without a hat on unless she goes to work... and my bf and his twin brother have at least six 3rd house placements in their charts with their ascendants very close to virgo. (0 and 1 degree Libra) their hats never leave their heads..
to add to that, in my progressed chart, I now have mercury rising and i've developed a temporary hat addiction. i want to wear them all the time but i'm too self conscious too (round face like a ***** )

I wear a b-cap at work, mainly to keep grease and dirt out of my hair. It drives me nuts if something gets in my hair. Unlike the other maintenance guys who all wear camo hunting caps or fishing caps, I wear this cap with two Chinese symbols on it I've had for 4 years...never figured out what it says. Maybe it means "F You" for all I know.I just bought a 'boonie' hat, you know the ones with the floppy, wide brim. Unfortunately, I forgot at a ladies house, and will probably never see it again. Yeah, a ball cap is a baseball cap. I just don't like them. Too common. I've had to wear them for jobs including the Navy, but I can't see them becoming a preference of mine.IP: Logged |
