Mars will go retro at 23 Taurus on October 1, 2005.

It'll go direct at 8 Tau on Decenber 9, 2005.

Things to be mindful with Mars in Taurus: proper outlets for anger and sexual energy; passive-aggressive behavior or transferred aggression, esp. if focused on a family member; impulsive decisions regarding home, property or finances; overspending; indulgence in food; lack of physical activity; severe mood swings; feelings of depression/low self-esteem; low sexual drive or diffcultly with sexual performance. People who experience a difficult transit with Mars in Taurus need to be patient and strive to be objective and active. There is a great risk that the individual becomes too inactive or too insular during this transit, and this should be avoided if at all possible.

Hes sick and having a series of radiation and Cancer treatments.

His Nadir is 4 Leo, and before long Saturn will be sitting there

I very recently made peace with him. I refuse to live in the past and dwell on the negative and I will soon be moving out of state, so for me closure is important.(especially because of his health)

uh oh..thanks for the warning! How does it affect people who have Mars in Taurus? Does it have a stronger affect on someone who has major planets in Taurus as well (Sun, Moon, Merc, Venus ect.)?

Ummm...relationships...yeah...

Currently I am seriously looking at breaking up with him. Plus there will be a lot of other planets in Fixed signs tweaking his chart. It may be a hard time for him.
It's sad but I am exhausted (read thread Taking the Plunge and Changing My Life) and he is not all bad, but I can't live with certain aspects of his character.

Another astrologer mention that with Saturn in Leo and Mars RX in Taurus, we need to be very conservative about money and material things, as well as long term commitments and obligations. Just watch your money, don't spend too much and avoid saying "yes" to anything that can't be wrapped up in a couple of days.

People who like to Xmas shop at this time should really look for bargains and sales - no impulse or "One for him/her, one for me!" buying, OK? Don't go for extravagant gifts either - simple, affordable and useful are key ideas for gift-buying this Xmas season. Giving to charity is OK, but don't spend outside your bugdet and make sure you give to creditable charities! There's a lot of people around right now looking to make easy money in dishonest ways, so be careful.

Things should lighten up a bit once Mars goes out of retro, so you can relax abit more then. However, Saturn in Leo can be a little irresponsible (if you can believe it)so if you see yourself getting out of hand with either money or partying, step back. Concenctrate on bondign with friends and other close ones this holiday season, rather than wild parties and spending your $$$s.

One last thing - if you're like me, this Mars retro is a b*tch on the job scene. You can expect to deal with a lot of other people's BS and may feel like you're getting screwed over or taken advantage. There could a lot of anxiety pertaining to whatever house this tr Mars RX is in (like me, it's int he 8th so I have a lot of fears and nightmares right now relating to money and my second job at, what else, a psyche hospital). If you're dealing with the crap, knwo that you're not the only one (*GN waves her hand*) so hang in there.

Mars Retrograde through the Houses

This can be an excellent time to move or look for a new job.
