Hi there,

Thanks for taking the time to read this. Hopefully, the Universe will send a cool Soul to read for me, for which I would be eternally grateful.

Here goes:

I have been going through one avalanche after another (as an Aries, I love the adventure - don't get me wrong), going with the flow, trying to stay calm. Sometimes going nuts, nobody's perfect. And just working with what life tosses at me. No Hollywood-esque expectations. There are weeks when I am depressed and disappear. I would sleep a lot (from Saturday 3 pm to Sunday 9 am or 12 noon) too. Lately (like last 4 months), I hadn't been able to sleep well and been running on 4 - 5 hours of sleep a night. I also work a lot; wake up at 4 am and work until 4 pm. I just started getting back into swimming in a 25M lap pool again after work for about 30 - 45 minutes.

I think to myself, OK, I just need some time for myself and am tuning out. But then some things have been starting to happen that are making me wonder if there is more to this. My family is starting to get worried (which is a surprise - they rarely ever pay attention to me). For whatever reason, if I don't call back within a day, my mom and cousin start to panic. My mom will call repeatedly, and my cousin would actually show up at my apartment door.

Hmm.

I won't talk to my dad and have actually stopped talking to him since my birthday. This is a long story, but basically my decision was that I needed a postive and strong male role model consistently so I can develop emotional growth patterns to eventually attract the right guy. I felt the things he said and did towards me were not doing any favors and cut him off permanently.

So, I am asking if someone could intuitively look at my chart and give feedback. I am feeling pretty confused and it's an odd feeling because historically I hardly ever feel this way.

Thank you

Aphrodite -

Hate to sound like a broken record, but I think you'll get more responses if you go to astro.com PERSONAL PORTRAIT > CUT & PASTE the tables at the bottom into your post here ...

Sorry you are going through such a difficult time. But I've never seen you shy away from a challenge!

I wonder if your Saturn Return is starting to kick in? It's only about 3 years away, which is close for Saturn. I know I've experienced weird reactions from family & friends before when I'm going through necessary changes.

Hey Aphrodite! When I read of someone being a tad 'off' or feeling depressed, I always check the Saturn position first off.

You currently have Tr. Uranus opposing your n. Saturn....and because Uranus is now retrograde, it is applying again towards your n. Saturn...things will ease off when Uranus moves forward again somewhere in the first week or two of October....

You have also had Tr. Mercury squaring your n. Chiron...possibly causing the misunderstandings with others (your Dad)...here again, once Mercury moves forward on Aug 15-16, the pressure should lessen as well.

These seem to be the main ones affecting you at the moment....It always amazes me when the influence of a retrograde planet rekindles issues that one might feel relieved of after the planets passes a sensitive point....retrograde 're-visits' the point again...making sure you have worked through the lesson...

Google the above aspects to find more information which might shed some additional light for you. Also, look for the 'house' issues where the planets aspecting are located.

Hang in there....Remember Life is always changing...and peaks and valleys keep it interesting...as long as you remain aware and strong, all will be fine!!

Hi AJ,

Thanks for the suggestion. You don't sound like a broken record. More like a Spin DJ. That was a joke, but now that I think about it, it does make sense.

I didn't know that the Saturn Return could be felt early.

Talk about weird family stuff. Mum is coming today to visit for the weekend. She says she's bringing a pot of one of my favorite soups and is going to pay for me and my brother to go on vacation later this month. I am like, interesting. I've been suggesting the Yucatan to my brother.

Transiting Saturn had been squaring all my cardinal planets and angles, and I have 9 of them.

Hi GemStar,

Yes, Life is always changing. It's a blessing and I love Mother Nature for teaching us that everyday, and every season. It's like being "Neo" from the Matrix: bending, shape changing, understanding, and pausing to not let anything scare me. Then opening up and finding out there's more room to hear different opinions inside this little body of mine.

I'll check out the T.Uranus and T.Mercury aspects. Thanks.

Ciao Belle!

Its your Moon sweetie, 28 27' Capricorn
Its still within orb of the opposition with Saturn. This shows emotional depression

The sleeping is depression and your families worries are because they're picking up on this. Your family loves you and whatever your differences are now, they want to help.

This is a transit and it will pass.

Time heals everything.

Dear HappyDragon,

Thank you so much for the prettiest chart anyone has ever given me!

Seems the transits have conjunctions, sighs.

Tell you what, I will share something. Years and years ago, I knew these years were going to get rough with Saturn and other planets going through the Cardinal signs, and then with the Saturn Return, even harder. And I knew, I would withdraw and become very, very quiet.

Just thoughts.

Hi lalalinda,

Yes, depression. I wondered at that. Thank you for the feedback. Was actually hoping someone would say it so I didn't think I was thinking wrong about this.

Love to all,

A.

aphrodite - hi there! i feel for ya! i'm right in the same boat as you as far as feeling saturn early and feeling a bit crushed cuz of it. try having saturn trek across yer 1st house for a couple years then straight after go into yer saturn return for another couple years <sigh>

lalalinda - what you said about sleeping = depression just hit me like a ton of bricks! i have been sleeping a ton and have been low energy lately. been feeling blue and feeling like i need solitude which is not typically like me! my moon is in aquarius and now that saturn is in leo (plus my natal saturn is in leo) that explains a few things for me! thanks for pointing that out! i'm having a hard time cuz my aquarius moon dosen't like to show these emotions to anyone so i guess it's coming out as needing much more sleep.

Hi Hexxie,

Thanks for the reply. Saturn was transiting my 1st house too. I hope there are periods inbetween where you can find solace and comfort in the yOu of yOu.

Charts are beautiful, intricate, and deep. When I used to read them more often than I do now, I would feel the Universe of that Soul. I studied traditional meanings, yes . . . but there is also this special, intuitive knOwing. The third eye. I had hoped that someone would do the same for me as I had years ago for so many. But it's okay. Because, the answers come in other ways. And, I am learning how to listen. Quietly, and sweetly.

All the Best

aphrodite, i felt bad i couldn't help you better i feel totally un-original cut n pasting, but i found some stuff that i think you should take a look at from the venus groupo (whatever it's called lol) website... these aren't all of the transits, i just picked the ones that i felt applied to yer situation after i read yer post.

venus opposite mercury (very tight orb!)
You are more clear and objective about personal matters and your relationships, so this is a favorable time to iron out differences or come to a decision. Communicating openly with loved ones, taking a trip to visit friends, or going on an outing accompanied by one you love, figures prominently now.

uranus opposite saturn
This time period is likely to be one of considerable stress, surprises, disappointments, and tensions. Your children, spouse, colleagues or employees may rebel against you, or you may find yourself rebelling against others. At this point in your life, you simply don't want to feel dominated by anyone. You are also quick to see the requests that others make of you as unreasonable demands. You feel like you've paid your dues, and deserve a break. However, your sense of responsibility still nags at you so you find yourself accommodating the needs of others when you really want to be doing something else. You may find yourself doing lots of chores for the family, putting in lots of hours at work, etc., but starting to feel very uncomfortable and perhaps even feeling manipulated or taken advantage of by others. Actually, it is your own conflict between your sense of responsibility and your need for freedom that causes most of your problems now.
You need to get away from your daily routine for short periods to get a perspective on your life and let yourself feel less confined. A sense of freedom is extremely important to you now. If it is difficult for you to make extra time in your life, then try to manage at least a day now and then to simply do the things that you really enjoy doing at the pace you like to do them. If you try to cope with daily tensions and pressures for too long during this time period, you will become very wired up, tense, and perhaps physically ill as well.
Be wary of a tendency to be overly submissive or rebellious at this time. Try to be honest and reasonable, without creating antagonisms with others.
If you find yourself getting a little tense, then exercise, massage, avoiding hectic environments, /and plenty of rest/ will help you unwind.

pluto conjunct neptune (part of what it says)
Also, /you may swing between periods of euphoria and emotional depression./ The emotional depression can arise from realizing that many of your cherished ideals or idols were based on illusion and fantasy. During this time period you must be willing to let go of illusions and develop a new vision for yourself.

sounds like yer doing the right things, like sleeping and being more introverted! i think we tend to go underground (inside ourselves) before a big change occurs. kinda like a little 'death' then 'rising out of the ashes' like the lovely phoenix. be kind to yourself right now!

something else i noticed was yer natal t-square sun29ari to moo28cap tojup29can (you probably already know about this?) i'm just learning about these, but i noticed it when looking at yer chart wheel. very tight orbs between all three! look to 5th house activities to 'releive' this. it looks like there's no aspects to the planet uranus in there so i'm thinking things will naturally work themselves out, in a uraniun, unexpected way
