does this thing of treating everyone the same - smiling at them, light, not much reaction, very easy going and he is Scorpio Sun 12th hse, Scorpio Rising and Pisces Moon, Venus in Sag.

This guy is my teacher, and I thought with all the Scorp in there (even 12th house) that there would be a bit of intensity showing, but he seems almost airy.......and the other thing..........he says he never notices anything, doesnt sense stuff going on in the pub, whereas I immediately sense the energy.

Is he lying or has he closed down - I am mystified by this one!!

Any help from you guys would be apprecaited

Thanks and love

All Scorp men are psychotic. That's all.

j/k

His Pisces moon and 12th house Sun will "soften" up his demeanor a lot, and make him more mutable of a personality than hisfixed Sun might suggest. With a water-water-water type like this, he'll be highly intutive and responsive to those around him, with that Pisces/12th house business making him "adapt" more to those around him. It may appear he's the same to everyone - Pisceans can be like that. But what the pisceean usually is doing to responding to each person individually ina way that make everyone equally at ease (or equally weirded out...depends LOL), so it may look to the observing like he's doing the same thing to everyone.

All water Suns are heavily influenced by their house placement or by afflciation in the chart - while the 12th is a good placement for Scorpio's intuitive, creative and psychic talents, it'll easily mute Scorpios more stubborn, rigid and intense qualities. Any Sun in the 12th is also easily "dominated" by other placements in the chart - this could make his Pisces moon more pronoucecd for example.

It would be difficult to discern what would make him "airy" without knowing what air-related palcements he has (planets, points, houses, etc.).

Hey Sue,
I used to have a Scorpio teacher and he was similarly very airy. He just sort of wondered about in a daze, never turned up to lessons and never did anything when he did. On one hand, he didn't seem very committed to his job, but on the other hand, he always seemed very stressed and tired.

I think Scorp men, no matter how airy or innocent they look, are really intense and unusual underneath
Perhaps he looked away with the fairies because of his Pisces Moon. I once knew a Pisces Moon guy who constantly looked out of it.

'ALL SCORP MEN ARE PSYCHOTIC. THATS ALL"

OMG we have a Scorpio son, now I am scared. In actual fact he has always scared me coming to think of it LOL!! Yeah bordering on psychotic definately !!!!!

Hey thanks GN for your help - that was very informative and now I understand - I thouht it was his 12th house. We get on very well and funnily enough with my strong Neptune placement, its conjunct sun in SCorp), this would give us a similar feel wouldnt it?

Thanks again and remember keep away from those Scorp men- any stories for me then???

Love

Hi Sue

Hows it going

You know, you should know Scorps better than most

However, not all are as intense as some.

I work with a lot of them and they are all different.

One is very considerate, he doesn't come across as intensely as most and is actually a good friend of mine.

Another is the typical Steroetype scorp. He is intense with everything, conversations, life, the lot. He is always trying to get involved with other peoples business and always likes to play judge and make his opinions known, trying to be the all knowing oracle on everything under the sun. He can be a real interferer at times and always likes to be seen to be in charge

The third is the most dangerous as she is quiet, always smilling, always polite, always appears shy oh and by the way - is gorgeous

However in private, she is not the sweet innocent thing she portays. She is highly self opinianated, very aggressive in her mannerisms and speech if you were discussing something with her and extreemly melow dramatic - the first time I saw this, I was seriously taken aback. We had been out together one night and she decided she wanted to go home, so we got a taxi and went back to hers, she was chatty and friendly the whole way, we were having a right scream. We arrived at her place and went in and no sooner had she turned the lights on she spun round starred me straight in the eyes and hissed at me what I thought I was doing taking her to one of the places we had been to that evening. I was so shocked I started laughing, which really didn't help as it made her even more aggitated, so I simply left. About ten minutes later she's ringing my mobile continually, when I picked up it was as if nothing had happened, she was shocked I had left and couldn't understand what was wrong??? how screwed up is that? So before hanging up I simply pointed out to her that it was her idea and suggestion to go to this particular place that evening, not mine. It turned out she was angry because it was a place I used to go to with an old G/f - which isn't hard in Jersey - being such a small place!!

anyway - I reckoned, the image she portrayed to the world was not of shyness or sweetness but one of conceited reserve - watching and picking up everything that was going on while all the time feining indifference....Hmmm

I'm not suggesting for one moment that your teacher is like this - so please don't think that is what I am getting at. But maybe his like the nice one I work with. Even though he can be a little abrupt at times, he isn't a horrid Scorp

OOOhhhh scary Scorp woman there Viper, you certainly meet em dont ya?

Thanks for posting, very interesting. My teacher is the most gorgeous man you would ever meet, even the blokes love him - just one of those people you would like to be with - he is soothing!!! He also is a brilliant fiddle player, sends me to another place just listening to him play.

So I suppose we can deduce from that, that all Scorpios arent evil...........just most of them LOL!!

Thanks for that me lovely

I only just saw this thread by accident -- don't know how I missed it the first time around!!??

Sue g. - what you perceive as "airiness" is just the lightfootedness, or spaced-out state of mind of someone with a strong Pisces influence. My husband is a Scorpio with Pisces rising, and he acts just like that. Gentle, friendly, not a ripple in the water. Also, absent-minded, forgetful, doesn't know if he's coming or going (unless he's coming, hehe! Sorry.) EXCEPT when he gets mad. I have the knack of pushing his buttons to the point where he is ready to blow. (Supposedly no one else ever does or did.) Then -- watch out. The way I see it, our marriage would be a lot more satisfying if he had more of that fire in a positive mood also, not only in fury. As it is, he's sadly lacking in the intensity and passion that people always refer to when they speak about Scorpios.

Anyway, Gemini Nymph has got it right!
You are really very good at this, you must have been studying astrology for a long time? I always enjoy reading your posts; you have such insight!

Viper, uh, stay home. You attract strange women!

Incidentally, came across a link in another thread yesterday, I wonder if you saw it. Did you once say you had Pluto opp. Venus, and therefore, all your women have Pluto that also opposes your Venus which is a function of Pluto moving so slowly? Anyway, here it is:

quote:
Oppositions between planets are also frequently indicative of projection; we tend to identify with one of the planets in the opposition and project the other. Normally, we will project the planet that is most difficult to integrate in ourselves. We tend to project outer planets in opposition to inner ones. Males tend to project "female" planets and vice versa. We will project planets that do not fit into the value systems of our families or cultures--those that do not easily integrate with our Sun, Moon or Ascendant.

One of the common examples is that of Venus in Aquarius opposite Pluto in Leo. The individual will tend to identify with Venus, the personal planet. Venus in Aquarius may see itself as friendly, open, idealistic, non-possessive and without guile. Often, however, very Pluto-type partners are attracted. That is to say, strong-willed, jealous, manipulative or dishonest individuals often come into the life. The person can feel that s/he is an innocent victim of this unpleasant Pluto character.

There is more, it's a rather lengthy article, but worth reading. Here is the link

Viper stay home????

ha ha ha ha , thanks Logger...

But she only had a sprinkling of Scorp in her chart - and besides, I'm virtually all Pisces!!! wonder why no one ever sees me as softly spoken, gentle etc.. etc..? ha ha

That's it, I'm gonna lock myself in a cupboard and give myself a good talking too

Could have a good point about the oppositions in the natal chart though. I have Sun and Venus oppossed Pluto in mine - and I sense it quite a lot?

Oh dear....no hope then

Sue g, it could of course be MY fault - I don't provide enough tender loving care to make him feel safe... He is soooo sensitive. A little flower...

Viper, to answer your question, it's because you have an Aries asc. to stir up all that water, and stir it good.

My mom is a Scorpio with a Pisces Moon also, and she has Aquarius rising. Your teacher sounds a lot like her, she likes to be nice to everyone and has many friendships. She's also forgetful and gets ditzy Sometimes, it just seems that she too is communicating with the fairies.... Off in her own world. LOL, I have a strong Neptune and the Moon in Pisces as well, so yeah I'm guilty of being spacey as well. BTW, I really like GN's post right on

Yeah, I'll admit Im spacey too, I also have a strong neptune that trines my moon and opposes my mercury. But my pluto which is on my midheaven and trines my mercury while sextiling my moon gets me back on track.
