Hi there! What effect do you think it has in terms of attraction if the woman's venus is heavily aspected by the man's planets in synastry (e.g. her venus conjunct his sun etc.) His venus on the other hand connects with few of her planets. I'm asking because I'm a bit confused about how venus-contacts are supposed to be interpreted in Synastry. On the hand it's said she represents the man's ideal woman. On the other hand I've read she is all about attracting others. So coming back to my initial example, I'm wondering how I should interpret a woman's venus that is so heavily aspected by a man's planets. Does that mean she is really attracted to him , or is he the one drawn to her because of all her venus charm. What do you think? Really grateful for your feedback

Ugh I have some with someone who I am going on a date with tonight.

I did the chart on a website.

Jennifer's Sun Trine Ricardo's Venus
Yours is a congenial and enjoyable relationship, for you both like, love, and appreciate one another, and make special efforts to please one another. You also share a similarity in tastes and enjoyment of leisure activities and pleasures.

Venus in trine with Sun. You just love Jennifer, perhaps from the very start, and She knows it. You value her just as She is. She dotes on being the object of your affections. This is a very nice combination.

Venus in conjunction with Jupiter. Aside from any romance, this could result in a sound business relationship. You value Jennifer's judgment and, more often than not, tend to let her act as your guide in matters of career and direction. She knows you appreciate her abilities, and this combination should be an enduring one.

Venus in conjunction with Pluto. You tend to love her passionate nature. She knows this, and that you appreciate her need for self-analysis and confrontation. Your relationship may be very intense, but always exciting. Things are seldom dull.

117 Conjunction Venus - Jupiter

Positive aspect: This union will be completely successful. A couple that is happy to be alive, and to live together, with a pleasant family and home, total confidence in each other (and with reason), intellectual understanding, similar tastes.

191 Trine Sun - Venus

Positive aspect: It's an excellent aspect. They go well together, they love each other, and feel good, happy and radiant in each other's company.

68 Trine Venus - Saturn

Positive aspect: This union could be favorable and lasting, if Venus is really looking for a Saturn.

I suggest you go to this post. I listed these links a while back.

His mars is also opposite my venus soooo....we both might be possessive with eachother. It can get very intense and passionate. he is very attracted to me physically and quite agressive.

Many thanks for the welcome note and for your reply Mystic Gemini! Your example is one of those frequently encountered cases where it's his venus and her sun. But I'm really confused about the opposite i.e. when it is her venus and his sun. Well actually, I'm just generally confused about venus in synastry. If somebody's planets connect with our venus - does it mean we're drawn to them or vice versa? What's your experience with Venus? Thanks, Sandra

It's funny you should ask this question, Sandra. I was just thinking a couple of days ago (I think I was reading another thread about something similar) that I really can't figure out Venus in synastry at all. It's the one planet that eludes me. I can only understand it in a natal chart.

Maybe some of the knowledgeable knowflakes around here will be able to explain it to us...
