Wow...it really is isn't it? I mean,
pick-you-out-of-a-crowd-of-people, magnetic. Pisces guys have been the only ones who I've ever had a liking for at first sight, and it's always mutual. Another one I found to be a Pisces last night makes three for me so far.
Even the girls end up getting mixed up with me somehow... sometimes in a rather resentful way...
What are everyone else's experience with opposites? Doesn't matter what sex.

Agreed.
There is something about them.......
My best friend is a Taurus woman.. well, my old best friend. we are still very close and she'll always be special.. but you know how things evolve.... different stages..
A man who is very special to me is a Taurus... with a Pisces Moon.

As I was saying in another thread, oppositions are tension creating aspects, but not as combative as squares. So they can get your attention, and provided they're not too intense or involv\ing disagreeable planets (Saturn as a norm does not like being opposed, for example, and Mars and Uranus aren't so crazy about it either), this is an attractive kind of tension rather than the more offensive tensions of a square. It grabs your attention, stirs your curiosity, and stimulates your imagination. It make you notice something about the other person, and it makes you wonder what it is that draws you to them. And as is typical of human nature, you want to know, so you try to get closer to that person to find out.

This is why a lot of interps of oppositions have the disclaimer "This is not guarantee of a lasting relationship" - the thing is an opposition draws you together, it sparks an attraction, but beyond that it's up to other apsects. In longer lasting relationship the opposition can help keep things stimulated and interesting. In quick and dirty relationship, normally the tension of the opposition tends to burn out one or both of the partners, and they either lose interest, fgeel they need space or have a 180 degree change in their feelings.

My current love interest and I have a moon-Pluto opposition and a moon-Venus opposition. There was mutual instant attraction when we first met.

yeah, capricorns can be pretty hilarious.
I usually like Leo girls born in August, for some reason. My best friend is a Leo. I'm not into Leo guys, but with Aries males there is a mutual magnet effect- Aries does oppose my ascendant, so that makes sense.
What is it about Leo guys, I wonder.. they just don't do it for me.

Indeed GN... I never seem to make it if I get too close to Pisceans(or any water sign for that matter)... They are great at a distance.

Battle of Evermore -

Is your Ascendant or Descendant in Pisces? Do you have any Planets in Pisces? How about any other points, such as the North or South Node?

I'm a Libra and I've NOT had that instant attraction thing with Aries, for the most part. When I was younger, it happened A WHOLE LOT with Sag's, which is REALLY close to my Descendant. (My Asc is in Taurus 29.50 Degrees - Gemini takes up most of my 1st House, which means, my Descendant is 29.50 Degrees in Scorpio, very close to Sagittarius). So ... it's also happened with Gemini's, but nothing as lasting as with Sag's in those good ol' days.

With Aquarius types, it's not so much an instant attraction as a "DOUBLE TAKE!" My South Node is in Aquarius.

But now that I'm all grown and seasoned, I've grown out of the Gem's & Sag's. My instant attraction has yielded to a more reasonable attraction which takes into consideration my Moon in Cancer and FRIENDSHIP more - Taurus' - which is my crazy Anaretic (29th Degree) Ascendant. I've known several, including Taurus Mooners, which provide me more stability.

Hello AJ... Nope, nope, that's the funny thing, I don't have a single bloody thing in Pisces. I do have Neptune trine my Sun though...The only water sign I have in my chart is Pluto in Scorp. I usually am attracted to Gems, Libras, Cappys and Pisceans...I always like them for some reason, not even considering their sex except with Pisces.

I'd say a Sun Trine Neptune could do it, especially since you have a Singleton Pluto (the only Planet in a Water Sign).

You've read stuff about Singleton's we've posted here, right? It makes it very important. I think it would make you immediately attracted to Water Signs because you feel they offer you so much information on your "Watery" side. That would explain that instant attraction. You probably feel balanced and somewhat relaxed around Pisces'.

Same with me. Like I said, I was drawn to Sag's bigtime in the beginning. I have a Singleton Uranus in Leo (the only Fire Sign in my Chart)- and in my 4th House, no less. So I had so much to learn and understand about that Fire I lacked in my Chart. They immediately made me feel balanced and relaxed.

I did NOT feel the same with Aries (I have a Mars in Scorpio - Mars co-rules Aries), and just a tad with Leo's (I have an Unaspected Sun, and my Singleton Fire in Leo is what colors my Uranus in my 4th, which is the Opposite Ruler of Leo - so they really cannot totally relate to me).

As for Jupiter (Ruler of Sag) Aspects, I have :::

* Moon Opposition Jupiter
* Mars Square Jupiter
* Jupiter Conjunction Saturn
* Jupiter Quincunx Uranus
* Jupiter Trine Ascendant

Also, my Jupiter & Saturn Conjunct are in the 9th House (Ruler of Jupiter/Sag)

So very important.

And to add to this a theory I brought up way back on an old thread directed mainly to women - check your father's (or "dad's") Moon Sign and see if you are attracted to those Signs in men. My dad's Moon is in Sagittarius.

Hmm.. interesting AJ. Let me ask you this, do you somehwhat annoyed with fire signs if you get TOO close to them? I am always much more extroverted around water signs...it's weird. I'm very comfortable around them as long as I'm not way too involved. The strong emotions get to me if I'm around them too much.
Speaking of my father's Moon sign, it's Leo... I do tend to like Leo girls, and guys with Leo rising, or Moons, but I can't recall ever meeting a male Leo Sun.
I'm not sure if it counts though, considering I have a Leo descendant, and a Leo 7th house stellium that includes my Virgo Sun in the 7th. My father and I do share several of the same aspects and placements though.

I am attracted to, and attract Cancers. It works pretty much like Gemini Nymph says, only it's generally them that loses interest. I'm perhaps too inclined to compromise, or it could be my big Libran influence trying to balance things when Cancers just want to do their own thing. I don't know.

I also have a water singleton, Mars in Scorpio. I do feel a kinship with water signs. At this point I still believe I want to end up with a water sign. Which one in particular I'm not sure, though if I went with Scorpio it would satisfy my water needs and my fixed sign needs as scorp is also my only fixed sign placement.

Ooo iwas thinking about Arians this morning.
Aries Sun/Moon/Asc find me attractive and i also feel the same.
Aries gals are full of playfulness & energy
men, they are difficult to keep pace with
esp with my libra sun & taurus rising i am the laziest on earth.
I woudnt want another romantic relationship with an Aries, just cuz i cant bear another roller coster ride..My ex Aries almost left me shattered!

I don't get as annoyed with super Firey types as much as I annoy them. I've been convinced it's because of my Virgo energies. Firey types don't have patience for "detail" conversation. But I'm OK with people with some Fire. In fact, prefer it.

I'm an Aries and have always been a little to much for Librans but...

I get on rather well with my descendant sign Gemini

Unless you have something to offset the opposition of the Suns like a Moon/Asc link, attraction wanes quickly.

BOE what planets do you have in the 12th house (Piscean House)
