With EVERY leo i know, male and female, i have a very strong kind of attraction and connection... a very special vibe, a kind of genuine magnetic energy. are there any leos or cancers in the house who can attest to this special cancer/leo vibe? or is it just me, maybe cause i'm a cancer with leo rising and a leo moon? your input would be greatly appreciated!!!!!! peace out ------------------ sun in cancer/moon in leo/leo rising. moonshine unregistered	posted August 31, 2005 04:39 PM looks like there might be something there.. but do you know what, I know a few cancers and leos and even two cancer/leo cusps, and they ALL exude this strong magnetic, charismatic, larger-than-life personality, even the one that is only 4 years old.. people look at them a lot and always listen when they speak. Gemini Nymph unregistered	posted August 31, 2005 05:21 PM My best pal is a Cancer with Scorp moon and Sag rising. She's 5'11" and is very magnetic and commanding. She can come on with a larger-than-life vibe (Sag rising), for sure, and she can use that in anyway she wishes (Scorp moon). She can charm an entire room or scare the living bejeezus out of anyone with amazing ease. Her sun's right on the Gem-Can cusp, so perhaps that helps. But she's no shrinking violet for sure. She's certainly Cancerian is many ways - while she's not touchy-feely, she is very home-oriented, nuturing and loves to make people comfortable. She's also an excellant cook. IP: Logged

This means that Leo's have things they can teach Cancers (and don't they know it wink). I've found it's very natural to feel very drawn to those tied to us by Karma. I'm a cancer, and I've felt the tug of Leo magnetism more than once in my life. It's never a romantic thing for me, but it's there nonetheless. Secondly, I've observed that it's very natural to be attracted to those whose sun sign in the same as your ascendant. I'm a Sag ascendant and I find myself romantically attracted to Sag's all the time. And vice versa. It's odd. A virgo friend and I were discussing this just yesterday. His ascendant is Libra, and he’s always got along extremely well with Libra sun signs. So, my cancer friend, you would find yourself attracted to Leo’s on both levels as your ascendant is in Leo. : ) IP: Logged

I've never heard that before... What I have heard though - but forget where - is that both Leo and Virgo are the "oldest souls" of the zodiac, whatever that means. Do you know anything about that? (As a Virgo/Leo that means that I'm super old, I guess, lol!) Luna*tic, it could be that those very special Leos in your life have their Suns very close to your Moon. *lunatic12** unregistered	posted September 02, 2005 06:36 PM hey guys... thanks for your wicked replies and being such a welcoming bunch! i'm excited to be here... i know ONE other person who is into astrology, so, this is really great. that's cool about the karmic wheel idea, i'm not at all familiar with that. one of my thoughts is that since cancer is ruled by the moon and leo by the sun, we've got some kind of balancing/yinyang thing in action. hmm... being a cancer it's tough being so attracted to leos all the time... they're hearts are just too accomodating.... ------------------ sun in cancer/moon in leo/leo rising. He does in some... he works hard, is health-conscious and orderly... but he's a total PLAYER. that is to say, he is with a different girl every week. he's really dirty and crass... he writes really strange with with really... PERVERSE lyrics. very un-virgo. i wish i knew his moon/rising signs. does anyone know virgos who are very un-virgo like this? anyone? IP: Logged

Between the two I think I'd see Virgo as older. This idea may be wrong as well, but I tend to think of older souls via the succession of the signs with Pisces being the oldest. Not sure, though. SecretGardenAgain unregistered	posted September 04, 2005 04:15 AM agree with cancerrg coz i have libra rising, im not attracted to libras, (well sure the really HOT celebrity libras, but then ALL Girls are attracted to those ones ). not a single real life libra i am attracted to, even though it would be a harmonious 5-9 sun sign pattern too (me being Gem). im much more interested in aquas, who challenge me on so many levels that they drive me crazy with admiration and frustration at the same time. i think cancer and leo attract becoz of their subconcsious. the sun/moon factor of course plays in. leo men in particular always look for women who are not so glamorous as naturally beautiful and many cancer women are. cancer women like strong protective men which leo men can be. i also feel that of all the fire men, leos seek a homemaker most, and cancer women seek out more passion than the typical water woman would. i agree with the leos being ahead on the karmic wheel, and having a lesson for cancers. cancers have high inner directed drive, leos have high outer directed drive. cancer women in particular represent a successful home , leo men a successful out of home/ work life. its all stereotypical, but bits and pieces of some truths Love SG IP: Logged
sthenri unregistered	posted September 04, 2005 09:01 PM Lauren funny it's true about the shifty part, I noticed the last mutable I dated, gemini had very shifty eyes, he also would think I was being shifty, not telling the truth when I was. What's worse for me is Venus in a mutable sign, Such as Gemini (very all over the place verbally) Virgo, or Pisces (feelings all over the place). These men also seem to think I am shifty, possibly due to my Gemini/Mercury/7th, and they can do without romance for a long time. I like a man that has to express himself eventually and who isn't afraid of being hurt so much. Right now I like a Cancer Sun, Venus in Leo/3rd house. So he's verbal and thoughtful (a professor), but a homebody. He is very honest. That Cancer/leo thing has something after all, as I have Cancer Moon, he has Venus and Mercury in Leo, and Mars in the 5th. Natasha IP: Logged

Cancer is very nurturing and able to sort of let the Leo take the reins. Leo loves the admiration Cancer provides. Luna, I agree with you here. I am a cancer, leo rising, virgo moon, and I am so drawn to leos - male and female. I'm dating a leo man right now with scorp rising and virgo moon, and I've never been happier with anyone. I also have a long list of girlfriends who are leos, my daughter is a leo, and other family members who are leos. Love them all, and it seems to me to be a more instinctually fierce and protective love than I feel for others. Maybe because I know these people well enough that when we're together they tend to drop the bravado and ego and the need to impress. I love that gentle, loving, and oh-so giving person inside. So, why the attraction? Not sure. I do love the whole idea of sun and moon. The basics. The sun shines and the moon reflects it back, and light is poured over everything. How lovely! IP: Logged
