Geminis aren't nearly as fickle as folks make them out to be. They're just, oh,....easily distracted. If you're dating a Gemini, always have Plan B ready -- and make sure you drive. Be prepared to hear all about their childhood, several times, with no specifics spared. This sign is awfully fond of details, and each one is just as important as the next. In the middle of the story about the kid on the beach with the toy plane, you'll hear all about their grandmother's apron, their cousin Sally's first car, etc. Once they get talking, they probably won't notice if you leave the table. When you've heard enough about how Dad used to wear the green overalls to mow the lawn -- and the red cap when he weeded -- just head to the bathroom for a Time-Out. With any luck, when you come back, they'll be ready to wind things up with a description of the way the gym was decorated at their Senior Prom.

Yeah, I liked a Gem once... still do, or we're still friends rather. I was too laid back for him though... plus he gets moody sometimes, which I don't mind exactly, but it's like "What the hell is stuck up your butt this morning?"

Heh, combining the pertinent points of my Sun, Moon, and Asc, here's why you should
Never Date A...
Corri:

Want a relationship with someone who will squint suspiciously at you, at least once a day, and ask what you really meant by that? Someone who starts crying at the beginning of Walt Disney reruns? Are you looking for someone with thirteen cats, seven dogs, and a three-legged ferret -- in a four-room apartment? If you just adore folks with hot pink hair (on the half of their head that isn't shaved), rows of small pierced silver rings in the most interesting places, and wardrobes full of nothing but purple Peruvian vests, sunglasses, Grateful Dead t-shirts, and Birkenstocks, get yourself one of these. If you can find their clothes, and give them very specific instructions on what to do with them, you can even take them out -- You can install (more) Question Authority bumper stickers on the back of their VW van, go to coffee houses where it is an accepted rule that no one speaks while the sitar player is plinking (unless it's to say "Wow, Really"), and march in demonstrations to protest for the Cause of the Month. (But) no matter where you take them, they'll have no idea where they are or how they got there. Are they really all that easily confused? Huh?

For a second there, I thought that title was "Why not date a Gemini?", like an advertisement!
LOL why not? I think I might go right now! Wow, I'm suseptable to advertising...

Actually, I have a Gemini friend JUST like that! She has a Virgo Moon too (funny about the details, y'know). One time she was telling me about her holiday, and proceeds to recount every SINGLE bloody thing! Like "We walked around for a while, then sat down, then Josh said:'Want some pizza?' and I said: 'Yeah, I like pizza.', then we breathed in, then we breathed out, then I laughed, then we stood up....."
AAAGHHHH! Love her really.

I had a pretty serious relationship with a Gem who did not want to commit, but he did want a woman to live with him and have his babies. He just didn't see why he should be faithful sexually to that woman, actually he would be faithful but oral couldn't count.

So I don't know if it matters, because sex with Geminis so far has been pretty boring and non emtional, like cutting my nails.

If not for that I would go for it, or anything because Gems are charming but the whole good/bad dirty/clean little boy sexuality thing doesn't do it for me. I am so sexualized it's not funny.

Gems also like tradition, so even if it's loose the relationship is likely to be traditional. Another thing I don't like. But as friends or lovers Gems are known to be great I won't disagree, however they do have a serious masochistic streak, as in they do like to be pushed around even physically because some do like commitment only they like to really have a woman act unforgiving.

As far as it goes, if they get someone like that, they will indulge in mental escapes and flirtations but won't stray physically. The trick is not in making a Gem commit, but being happy with their version of attention which is nil. They like ALL the attention, not givers. And if you can stand he or she getting attention while you are not then you won't be jealous.

this kind of relationship works for this Taurus only if I am working full time and very happy. As soon as I need support emotionally the relationship weakens and I fall back on Saggies and Cancers.

Maybe Gems work best in an extended family, with lots of people around and children. Aquas and Libras work that way. And Gems do love children which is a good thing.

If I were reincarnated as a Cancer Sun, and had lots of siblings, I would date a Gem, but I'm not.

I truly like the sign Gemini when placed in the personal planets and angles because I tend to genuinely trust cerebral connections. Mental connection makes me feel happiest, truly. With a Gemini, their mutable nature adapts easily and picks up so many details and nuances that other signs do not. I love adventure, innovation, and changing with the world and Gemini enjoys these experiences along with me.

My ex was a libra with Gemini Moon and Rising, however I really do trust the emotional connection of dreaming, thinking, and feeling someone nearby. I get a feeling in my bones about someone and it doesn't go away.

I like mental connections too, I just get more excited and energized by the emotional. I have had my world changed by Cancers many times and Leos because they have so much energy.

I know what you mean Aphrodite, because I have had some incredible mental connections with Gemini Sun signs, except that they are ultimately looking for a mate; their other half.

I can't be that, and I need to leave space for a man with Cancer, Leo, Sag or Aqua energies.

Geminis are brilliant there is no doubt, I learned about potato pancakes, dancing, so many things through Geminis, but they never seem to find love.

hehe that site's hillarious

quote:
They'll amaze you at their ability to stuff six "I's" into every sentence

omg I think that's true, I think I say "I" a lot..sheesh I just said "I" again and again, ok I'll stop. OMG NO, another "I" arrrggghhhhhhhh I can't stop typing I's lol, I'm gonna get so self-conscious about this..I'll start typing in 3rd person. "Lauren never says I" lol ok that sounds a little psychotic

In other words, a workaholic who takes their organizer, cell-phone, and portable fax machine everywhere, and wears a pin-striped suit everywhere (even hiking), just in case an important new contact comes along? Well, sign right here. Your Capricorn lover will never go off duty

yikes that's kinda true as well. I love suits heehee and I'm always working on a few things at any one time. My bf always complains about it (though he has a Cap moon too and Asc and he does the same so he shouldn't complain really lol)

Really? My best sex partner was a gemini... She was very adventurous... They like to try new things...

Of course, I have moon venus and saturn in Gemini, that may help.
