Hello!I have this aspect, in the 5th house and in Scorpio. Does anyone have any personal insight into this placement? Know someone with it and wants to share? I am interested in what other people have to say about it versus the typical text book answer... Thanks! :-)

My Pluto's also in the 5th and I have the sextile with Mars like 26T. My Mars is Cap.The sextile and trine give you more energy I think, and more staying power in whatever you choose to do..especially something physical. The conjunction would be a lot stronger so you might be very assertive in that area.. the romantic, fun and games (5th) area. I also read Pluto in the 5th predicts very strong minded, intense kids. With Mars there as well you might find your kids will be very energetic, with a very strong personality and might be a handful sometimes. IP: Logged |

Yeah, Lauren, I get what you are saying...I think I come off as very driven and whatnot because of this placement,(both in Scorp) but I think a bit TOO much (as in there is no balance), as I realized this week because of something that happened. So I thought it may be interesting to see what others of the same placement thought. I am pretty sure because of my general intense "go get em'!" attitude, if I ever have children, they will probably have a very defined personality...I am a big supporter of individuality at any cost! Well it doesn't have to be "too much". I think it's a very good aspect. But it's not for the faint hearted lol so I could see why someone else might get intimidated by it. Maybe try to tone it down a bit if you think you're around someone who can't really take that sort of intensity. I used to know a guy who had a Mars/Pluto opposition. At times he could come on TOO strong and scare certain people.. When you have that kind of power and energy and you use it right in a positive way, to achieve certain things, almost nothing stands in your way.. But when/if you let it get the better of you and express it through rage or anger it can cause a lot of damage to yourself and others.. It needs to be channeled. IP: Logged |

Yes, I have the square and my last two b/f's dont' talk to me. Not that I care really but it's not the greatest way to end a friendship, I tend to be like a crocodile, my anger is submerged and then when you step on me and act two faced I blow.I have learned to lie and be two faced myself, sorry but's that the only way to survive and to back off in intensity by doing many things: Sewing, exercise, sports, shopping, working, studying, reading, all in one weeked! People find me a charge to be around, but I have to keep my distance otherwise I lose respect for someone if that person is lazy. It really just gives you more energy, like a lot of Mars aspects. The conjunction would give you intensity and and with the planets, a more sunny personality. Then again I have Pluto trine Sun, and Moon in the 8th, so I would never be called sunny. When people complain I say I'm no dolphin:> Good occupations are law, business, sports, anything that requires energy, confidence. Renee Zellweger Christina Aguilera Viggo Mortensenís All have the square or opposition Johnny Depp has the conjunction Hilary Clinton has the conjunction in Leo The conjunction gives depth,
Nothing too scary about these aspects unless you are a hermit. Natasha Taurus IP: Logged |

I definately feel what you guys are saying....expecially about the whole anger thing. I don't get angry very easily (although I do get annoyed easily) but when I am angry, wow. I really get heated. But I don't try, like some people I know, to come off as a bad ass- like "Ooo, don't mess with me!"I think the conjunction mainly affects me because of my "intensity" I think people think I am like, really intense, even when I am just simply talking, people are like "calm down!" but that is just the way I am. I guess its alo because I do not talk needlessly, so when I say something I really mean it. My mom says, even when I was little, I just always had bit of anger thing going (justified). But in general, no one would think this and I am quite congenial. I just sometimes which I could be fun and breezy like others I know... I am leanring now about that survival tactic right now sthenri...I think I am just now starting to get how to make myself appear approachable to others, while accepting who I really am. THanks for the replies!

I've been reading how mars conjuct pluto is a Sexual linkage basically this person is usually very attractive and sexual with a powerful sex drive. Someone like Johnny Depp has this in his first house. Put this into the 5th house Scorpio and you get lots of sexual fun but need to watch if there are negative planetary aspects to this combo. Be safe! Strangely, I just found out that my mars and pluto might be conjuct (10 degrees difference) I'm OK looking but not hot like I should be????IP: Logged | |
