I am not sure if we covered this at all...(I remember there being some post about ascendants a few weeks ago?)

I am wondering why I seem to get a very strong reaction from people when they meet me; and each opinion swings from one end to the other. I am either very the "shy quiet or retiring type" or the "loud outspoken and opinonated" type. I know we are alll multi dimensional, but I am intrigued as to what could indicate these opposite natures in my chart. So, I am guessing one would look at the asc?

I have Mercury, Neptune, and Jupiter opposition the ascendant (they are all in the 7th in Sag) and also Mars and Pluto trine the ascendant (these are in the 5th in scorpio)

I read somewhere that planets on the descendant, i.e. opposite the ascendent whether NATAL or even during transits bring people of the planets' qualities to us. For example, you have mercury, neptune and jupiter, you will attract people with those qualitis. Mercurial (Geminis and perhaps virgos), Neptunians, Pisceans, and Jovial Sags. Or simply people who have these qualities prominent in them but not reliabely of the respective signs...during transits as well, I read that if one has Chiron or Pluto for instance opposite the ascendant, someone with Plutonian qualities will walk into our lives. Intense, deep, and ultimately transforming your life/perception! Yay, don't you love Plutonian people! lol

So my guess GeminiRising, is that you attract these comments and people because they see these qualities in you according to their own perception.

Yeah, what you said makes sense, I always just get a bit nervous with the whole opposition thing, but I guess it is better than a square? Anyway, now that I think of it, the two roomates who I get alone best with are Virgo's...one of my good friends is a Pisces (Cap rising) and another is a Gemini!
