Does anyone out there know of a good astrologer who could look at my husband's natal chart and give him an idea/push towards what would help fulfill him?

That's not quite the right phrase.
How to explain...?
To me, it feels like he's stuck in a rut and is flailing about in an attempt to get out.
It kinda feels like a Nodal issue, actually.
He's expressed an interest in having his natal chart analyzed, and I think that input from someone who's gifted and sensitive at astrological analysis/observation may be received well.

So, if anyone knows a good astrologer who they'd like to recommend, let me know
I'll pay...but we're far from well-off financially, so I won't pay an astronomical amount.
~~~
As an aside, since I have the feeling that this may be (at least in part) a Nodal issue, does anyone have any input on his Nodes?:
Most good astrologers can do that... They look at your chart and tell you what things to avoid and what things to embrace...
Maybe you should call a couple and tell them the situation over the phone and ask them how can them help.
He's moving away from Capricorn to Cancer?
I have the opposite.
Seems he needs to work on becoming closer and more nuturing toward people. He should perhaps strive to become less self-contained, and start really getting into the heart of relationships. He needs to develop and appreciate the joy that comes from getting close to people.
I'm amazed at the number of aspects he has.
(By the way, I'm not the most knowledgable about astrology.)
AG, Yeah, but he has lots of luverly blue lines, even a Star of David in there, I think.
Mine, for example, has lots of aspects, too - just a few more of them are red...oh, wait..."filled with energy potential". http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v250/proxieme/MyChartBig.jpg
You should see his numerology.
Well, his soul was just being difficult when it chose this chart, then - try telling an Aqua Sun w/ a 1st House Uranus conj. Jupiter (both sextile his Sun) to do that
(That "laughing" face up there is at least half-ironic.)
PP - Yeah, but that's kind of like saying, "Well, here's a list of babysitters - just choose one. They're all Red Cross certified."
(Or maybe that analogy only makes sense to a Mom...)
I kind of more asking for people's recommendations based on their personal positive experiences with an astrologer.
Your suggestion is appreciated, though
Do you think she might make a concession on her price since we'll be footing the bill for a call and given that the Euro's trading strong against the USD?
I'm composing an e-mail right now to send off to her
It might not be the most coherent thing in the world (I'm trying to get it done before Meg awakes), but it'll get there.
Would you like to put in a good word for me
Well the other thing you could do is offer to pay her the difference in a month or two, if that would make you feel better?
You think she'd go for installments, then?
I'll send an addendum asking about that, then.
Then I'll tell Jase, "Here, this is your Anniversary/Christmas Present!"
I'm pretty sure, and I think maybe GeminiNymph will back me up on this, that this is a saturn issue.
He has early fixed for sun, moon, and saturn. The problems probably started when saturn entered leo. He just got his first pass of having his sun opposed, and moon and saturn squared. The most difficult aspect here is the solar one, because we become weak and tired when saturn opposes our sun, we have difficulty getting any project off the ground, and it seems that the universe seems to block us. This influence makes us grow strong.
Saturn square moon is associated with depression and isolation, and also strain with female relationships. Saturn square saturn is associated with career changes/public image changes. ]
Saturn has, by degree, passed all of these, but its going to retro (in nov i think?) to reverse over, then pass once more. The initial transit (in this case 3 transits) is always the hardest, because thats when reality slaps us in the face and we freak out/despair. During the retro he'll be able to examine what hes doing wrong, and when saturn moves over his planets again next year he'll be able to fully fix things.
A large part of saturn transits is learning to GIVE IN and not fight it. WHen we fight a saturn transit its like struggling against a spiked collar, it only hurts more. He needs to give in to the fact that his life isn't what it should be right now, and focus on his basic needs. Then he can review the past, see where hes been, seen whats worked for him, and go from there. We often "flail" under saturn transits until we learn that the flailing only makes things worse, and that we must give in to saturns power. Saturn always teaches patience.
I'm going to assume this is a career issue mostly? Although i sense that theres an underlying emotional issue that is not resolved as well, perhaps somethign to do with his mother. Regardless, his midheaven falls in leo, so any career where he can be creative would be ideal. Anything from teaching, cooking, working with children, physical education...his saturn falls in the 12th house so he might he might be self destructive on the job, subconsciously getting himself terminated. Aquarians often have trouble finding their true purpose in life, and the reason he may be hurting is because hes about to find his true purpose. I reccomend he makes a list of all his past jobs/activities and figures out which ones he hated/which ones he loved, and go from there. Being triple fixed (sun, moon, and rising) he has extreme difficulty changing, and you may actually be the guiding force that pushes him in the right direction. Whats demanded here is first, introspection, second, list making/review, then finally action in some direction.
That makes sense, BR.
It seems like he's having an early-life crisis.
While it has been a career issue (there's all sorts of things happening - or not happening, because this is the Army - on that front) it's also become a relational issue.
I'm not sure if this is spill-over or endemic, and I'll admit that I'm not the most neutral on this matter. It's safe to say, however, that he feels that "all is not right" and "things are not as they should be" on several fronts.
I'll mull that over (and run your response past him).
Thank you, BR
I don't know why I didn't notice it before -
tSaturn is (or has been, or will be - however you want to look at it) making hard aspects to my nMoon, nAsc, and nVenus.
Moon ~ 01°44'25 Aquarius
Ascendant ~ 05°23'27 Scorpio
Venus ~ 07°04'08 Taurus
That does a bit of explaining on my front as well.
Now I'm going to go wallow in self pity for a bit
Your moon forms one of the tighest conjunctions i've ever seen with your lovers sun sign. That's a big plus.
...Yeah.
The "wallowing in self-pity" part was at least half in jest.
I feel like I want to, but I know it wouldn't do any good
Re: the Sun/Moon: We have that going, and depending on how wildly generous you'd like to be with your orbs, we have nice Moon/Venus things going on as well.
When it's nice, it's quite nice.
When it's bad, it's awful (but, then, that's also what you get with Scorpio Ascs all around).
Our Composite's Fun:
With that 4th, I'm surprised it took us a few months to get married
The Davison has some interesting stuff going on, too, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to say just what. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v250/proxieme/davidson.jpg
As an aside -
Sue G - You're confident in Kate?
She's offered us very generous concessions and I have a general good feeling about her, but I just wanted to make triple sure.
Her price for her service is great, but even a fantastic price is a bit of a bite for us - you're reeaaally, reeeaaaally sure?
