Topic: Help with recognizing aspect patterns...

Hi!
I need help!I don't understand the T-Square, Grand Trine, Rectangle or Yod things that Bob Marks Astrologer is talking about.I feel silly but, can someone either:
1.) Explain these things in way I can get and/0r 2.) Look at my chart and see if I have these things... I would really appreciate it!

Well the Grand Trine is that big blue triangle - with all the sides being the same length - between your Midheaven, Ascendant and your Mars/Pluto conjunction.  There are some that only consider these "big" aspects if there are planets involved however, but the Asc and MC are important angles, so I think it's valid. Now if you look on the right side of the chart, you'll see another triangle right beside your Grand Trine... this makes it a Kite formation. Still haven't found much good info on kites... the only thing that seems to be said is that it gives focus to the energy of a Grand Trine, encouraging you to actually do something with it. You don't seem to have any T-Squares, but on an astro.com chart, they would be red triangles with one long side, and 2 sides the same length. A Grand Cross would be 2 oppositions, making a "plus" sign in the chart. No Mystic Rectangles either: that one's pretty self-explanatory, looks like a perfect rectangle drawn in the chart lines. Gemini,The easiest way to think of these aspect patterns as different types of FOCUSES of chart energy:
- The T-Square focuses energy toward the planet(s)/point(s) where the two square aspects meet - The Grand Trine easily focuses energy around the three planets/points - The Grand Cross (Rectangle) stressfully focuses energy around the four planets/points - The Yod focuses energy on the planet/point where the quincunxes meet As mentioned, you have a Kite focused on your Mercury (thinking/daily work), Neptune (spirituality), Jupiter (expansion), and Descendant (others) stellium (collection of energy). Hey! Thanks Dragon, I really appreciate it. I figured that blue triangle was something. But people always referred to Grand Trines in terms of planets, not regarding the MC, AC and what not. But does this mean I have "luck" or an easy flow in energy concerning my AC and MC? How is the Mars/Pluto conjunction involved!Its all so complex! (I did look on Bob Marks Astrologer site, and he does mention the trine with the AC and MC) Wilsonsc: About the Kite formation, I read the opposition is the key to understanding the potential or energy with the planet in opposition. But, I am confused because all of those planets (Merc, Nep, Jup) are all opposite my AC...how will the kite manifest itself in my chart though? Does this mean that all 3 of these planets energy are strong within myself? However,I do get the stellum in Sag- thanks! That forum, Neptune, was helpful, summarized some popular aspects. Thanks!
