How does it affect the planets, exactly? For instance, I have my Moon (Sagittarius) and my Jupiter (Cancer) in mutual reception. They're also inconjunct. Does that weaken the mutual reception? Or what?IP: Logged |

Inconjunct? What is that? I have never heard of that term… I also have the same mutual reception you talk about (a Sag Moon and a Cancer Jupiter). What I have heard is a mutual reception makes planets feel confortable, enhances their powers… They help each other… Mutual reception strengthens harmonious aspects and softens the influence of the hard ones…

An inconjunct is the same thing as a quincunx...just easier for me to say. IP: Logged |

OK I must admit it’s easier to say…Ditto… Quinqunxes in traditional astrology are weak hard aspects. But its tension will be neutralised by the softening beneficial influence of the mutual reception. It works the other way round: the mutual reception modifies the influence of the aspects, not the aspects affects the mutual reception… Jupiter, planet of good luck and expansion, will help your Moon to express your feelings and needs, will make them flow… And the Moon will make you intuitive with success…

But nove, your Jupiter is exalted in the sign of Cancer, which adds strength to it.IP: Logged |
