Sadly no - Your ascendant is how you project yourself into the world. You exterior mask. As such, you people whose sun sign is conjunct your Ascendant might find themselves very drawn to you, and vice versa, however attraction does not a soul connection make. My Ascendant is in Sag, but Sag's have never been good for me in relationships. My last boyfriend was a Sag Sun/Cancer Rising, and I'm a Cancer/Sag. That relationship ended disasterously. Since my sun sign is Cancer, I need far more stability and commitment than most Sag's can offer.Your Descendant (the opposite sign from your rising) is supposed to be what you are looking for in a mate, however it's a very loosely defined thing because my Descendant is Gemini and I've never been attracted to any Gemini suns however I do find intelligence and clear communication incredibly sexy. Thanks for clearing that up.I used to have an Aries boyfriend in high school,his mother was an over protective Libra.I used to visit his mom everyday after school and talked to her.For some reason I don't know,she seemed to be happy whenever I or other people were miserable.Bummer.Anyway,the Aries boyfriend was immature.That was 10 yrs.ago.Now I'm a happily married Virgo woman to a Leo Man.YAY!. ------------------
