I just noticed that in the last few relationships I've had all of SO's Neptune fell in my 4th house. Is there some significance to that? I mean like is there reason for that? And what does it mean? Thanks
Kay

This is merely a generational issue as Neptune is a very slow moving planet.

If you were to date someone your parents' age then their Neptune will likely fall into your 2nd or 3rd house.

And if you have a child then their Neptune will likely be in your 5th or 6th.

The question for everyone with these kinds of synastric planets-in-houses (for the outer planets) is how significant personally are the effects of them?

What do you think?

Well I'm new to astrology so I really don't have a clue. I jsut happen to notice that when doing compatibility charts with prior boyfriends. I usually date guys 7-10 years older than me. So Neptune is generational thing then? Ok then thanks for the info.

I tend to disagree about this being a generational placement. After all your houses are set up by your birth time, and where their Neptune falls has bnothing to do with when they were born.

Now, I'll agree that the sign its in is generational, but not the house.

Neptune in your fourth house indicates strong emotional, psychic, and psychological interactions. He will have a strong, but subtle influence on your emotional habit patterns. This can be spiritually uplifting if his Neptune is well aspected in his natal chart. The home serves as a quite place for meditation and inner reflections, or religious work. Your shared home, if you have one will reflect the beauty of your lives.

The issue of synastric placement of their Neptune into your particular house is merely a mathematical subject in terms of it always ending up in your 4th if you are dating 7-10 years older than yourself.

The meaning, or interpretation, is a different ball of wax.

You have to check the state of their natal Neptune, and of course, what the two of you will do with it all.

My natal Neptune is in my 4th House.

I get that in composite a lot with people who have a late Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, or early Sagittarius Ascendant. Lmao.

It occurs to me that we may not be talking about the same thing. When I say synasty, I mean the partner's planets placed in the individuals houses. Given several partners all born 10 to 15 years earlier than the individual, the house that Neptune for example will fall in depends specifically on the time of birth of the Individual.

I ran sveral charts, because although I was sure that I was right, it never hurts to couble check. The results were that for individuals born an hour apart involved with the same partner 10 to 15 years older than them, Neptune will fall in different houses.

Illog is correct. Doc and I are born within mere weeks of each other. So despite the fact that our Neptunes are both in Scorpio. His is in the 4th House. Mine in the 11th with Scorpio ruling both my 11th and 12th, and Scoppio ruling both his 4th and 5th. Also his Neptune in 4th lives with his MOON atop his IC. My Neptune is a water singleton. So all in all Neptune plays out diffferently for us despite the mere three weeks in birthdates.

PS---Our composite Neptune is House 2...and well that's a whole different story..

PSS My Neptune appears to fall in his 4th house. His falls in my 11th...
