MAynerd is into alot more then just astrology and numerology. Undoubtedly-

He is the true free maison of sound, and the real deal Magus of Music !!!

And you can feel it like none other when in one of theri concert crowds. Ive been too many different flavers of live shows, mayn , many incredable performers and composers IVe seen play, most of em very intense... But no one has felt, and given off teh vibe thats in the air at a Tool show....

I knew it back when I first saw them perform here in Pk, back in 97, what was felt at that show was something entirely from the ethereal, and arcane realms...

Years later, in one of Maynerds very few interviews- when asked about his guitarst and his process when writing their music- they stated that they arent fully concous when they compose, or perform . They useualy spend days at a time in deep meditations, with instruments, and pen and paper in hand as they write out the songs...

And then they went on to describe how they prepare for evry one of their concerts... The guitarist has to be helped out to the stage, because he doesnt fully bring him self out of his devine cloud 9 for the performance...

Reading this also explained alot of the estranged atitude the band members tend to have towards their fans before and after shows. A few I personaly know have tried to aproach Keenan at the concerts, they came back bitching about how he was stuck up, and barely achnoledged them.

BS !!! I knew from the depth of his lyrics, that it was alot more too it then just him being stuck up. If anything - I dont think he even enjoys the life of a celebrity, and would prefer to just be left in his own personal shell... YOu dont have to read too far into the music to hear that they dont have a desire to be worshiped as gods ,just because the listener apreciates the art.
