With my Sun in Cancer and Venus in Gemini, I was curious as to how this would display itself in terms of love/relationships. I would think with Sun in Cancer, I would be swayed by romance and then, with Venus in Gemini fond of playfulness. Maybe I just answered my own question, but wondered if anyone had any thoughts as how the two would blend in my romantic interactions. An added Moon in Aquarius, would I also be emotionally detached? I have read a lot on the these aspects singularly, but have trouble seeing the full picture. Any thoughts would be welcome.

I don't rightly know. But I understand the predicament. I'm an Aries Sun with a Pisces Venus. It can be very confusing sometimes. Oftentimes, I'm more like my Venus than my Sun. I have a Sagittarius Moon, too. Eeck, my Venus is not well loved. Actually, that's a lie. My Venus has about 8-10 aspects to it, and only two of them are negative (Square Moon, Semi-square Sun). My Moon only has two aspects to it...they're both negative...Poor Moon, it's so unloved...

Yeah, I suppose that we cannot all be blessed with a trine in terms of our Sun/Venus. I would imagine then there would be a nice blend in our romantic nature. Now as I'm thinking about my own question, I think that I am very playful and come of easy and lighthearted about love/sex (did I just call myself easy??), which would be my Venus in Gemini displaying itself. Although, I am then sometimes confused thinking that it meant or should somehow mean more, which is maybe due to my Sun in Cancer. While I feel I do have strong feelings and deep emotions when it comes to love/sex, I have trouble expressing them or letting others see me vulnerable, in part due to Cancers natural defenses and maybe even Aquarius' emotional 'coldness'. Does this make any sense? I know if anyone should know the answer it should be me, but I'm asking from an astrological standpoint.

Yeah Melanie, I have the same combo as you but I also have a cappy rising with an afflicted saturn and other heavy placements.*so my shell is almost inpenetrable(sp?)* I think my venus only comes out in really close relationships. Only with ppl Im comfortable with. I know, water sun/air venus-what a mix

I have a Capricorn Rising as well. So you have Sun in Cancer and Venus in Gemini, with a Capricorn Rising? Cool. At least I know I'm not alone.

I have cancer sun w/ Venus in Gemini. Venus kind of show how do you seduce people. In my case by talking, telling jokes, chatting and making witty comments.

i am also a cancer with a gemini venus.
i think my venus makes me very fickle when it comes to love. i want variety. it makes me a bit of a flirt.
which is annoying... because i get all lighthearted and flirty but then once im involved my cancer side takes over and gets all soft and mushy...

After reading my post back, I realized that I put my foot in my mouth. No one has a trine when it comes to their Sun/Venus. It would be nice though.
