In synastry, Challenging moon aspects like moon square saturn/pluto uranus are quite difficult to say the least....
Would aspects like... moon trine moon... moon trine jupiter..... mercury sextile mercury... sun sextile mercury... sun sextile venus...or even uranus conj neptune
be enough to ease the strain of the squares? And if not, what would be some aspects to look for that could even the field?

Sorry but there's no set rulebook that dictates how the stars will work for us. Everything's relative, and it depends heavily on the uniqueness of the partner's own antal charts and how they relate to one another.

My last relationships we had some toughy squares, but we overcame those with great synsatry contacts like Sun trine moon, moon conjunct Jupiter, Venus trine Jupiter, SUn trine Jpupiter (good contacts with Jupiter seem to help alot BTW), Mars conjunct Venus, Sun trine Neptune, moon trine Neptune. Also we had some good Saturn contacts that helped stablize us and kept us from getting to "irked" by those squares.

Inteerstingly, it wasn't the squares that did our relationship in, IMO. It was double whammy moon-Chiron conjunctions. *sighs*

GN-- Thanks so much for your reply

It would be nice to have a secret recipe of sorts wouldn't it? But yes, i know, there is no such thing....
I have these squares (all) in a synastry chart but... our relationship works...
I was wanting replys from others who have this and what they felt about them...
We also have an abundance of feel goood stuff...and the lovely venus sextile neptune.... We do love each other but have seperated from time to time....
I haven't really looked at too much chiron info ... i believe we have moon trine chiron... anywho, thanks again!!!

Sometimes it's not the squares that do you in but the individual natal charts. LOL.My first real relationship which was 9 years in duration. Together we had a surplus of conjunctions and trines but the guy was completely unable to commit. That had more to do with his natal chart which was aqua sun but with a capricorn moon and saturn stress heaped. He had conflicts all over the place, and hooking up with my chart was not going to magically dissolve them. Weird thing is he is now 44 and never gotten close to true intimaacy or marriage--something an astrologer forsaw 20 years ago.

Stargazer -

Tell me about it! A Square is difficult in with the inner/outer's. A Moon Opposite Saturn is a killer too!

I agree with Gemini Nymph that there is no set Rules, but lets explore this. Perhaps out of observation and firsthand experiences, we can share how we with difficult Aspects learn to make the best of it.

For example: If one North Node is in the same Sign as one's Sun, or if the House the NN is Ruled by the same Planet which may have positive placements in the Chart. That person would probably place a lot of importance on achievement, and perhaps that's where the emphasis on the positive comes into play. Things like that.

Another example. My Jupiter is in optimism-sucking Capricorn. But I try to make the MOST out of it being in the 9th House of optimism.

I've been doing alot of soul searching as of late and am under and i mean under some heavy transits right now...Saturns in my first and the like.... My 7th house (natal) is a mess... i mean you would gasp! venus is afflicted... and i simply choose the most challenging individuals to hook up with... Alright, i'm attracting the wrong ones... I'm great at friends...have trouble with intimacy..... Just got my composite from lanny and he must think i'm nuts..... tomorrow is another day... jupiter in leo .... Thanks again!
