I too am a Sag Moon, Libra Sun. I have never boasted about myself to anyone or even to myself. I think it is better to consider things differently and to see other people's sides to things, so I never think I'm all that!
I agree with Nove 731, about the making fun of oneself, I also do that! The only thing I notice about my Saggie moon(which btw,is also a singleton in my chart) Is that I tend to be extremely honest, even when I don't want to be and that YES, I do stick my foot in my mouth and say blunt things, esp. when I'm mad or upset. Yes Sag people say what is on their minds, but at least we speak up instead of keeping things to fester inside! I agree some tact would be nice, but we can't always control that, and if it is rude, you probably deserve it in some strange way! lol!

See, what I'll do here to stop a bit of this ol' conflict is to quote something explanatory this Sag Moon guy said:
I say he always recieves copiments with "Yes, yes I am like that!" and he says-
"Yes, don't you?" I explain I get embarassed and he says "Embarrassment is a useless emotion if ever there was one."

So I don't think if they seem that way to be boastful. Spose they're just being honest, lol about themselves. Cos let's face it, they're great, aren't they?

being a gemini sun making a natural opposition to sag, i keep noticing that i LOVE sags.

after checking my friends' charts i found out that many of them have some strong placements in sag - sun or moon mostly. don't know why... guess it's because of my White Moon in sag

------------------
Sun in Gemini
AC in Leo
Moon in Pisces

I agree 100 percent with AutumnWind! Sag moons are just very straightforward people. When I was younger, a wise person once told me, "When given a compliment say Thank you instead of denying it." That has always stuck with me...maybe cuz of my Sag moon. :P To this day, I will always acknowledge a compliment with a thank you..." Hehehe, I figure the person must know what they are talking about!!!

Also, my sag moon definitely makes me a waaaay more fun Scorp Sun!

Hey Stargazer,

that is oh so true:

quote:
Cancer/Sag produces one of the nicest personalities in the zodiac. The good side is a less-moody crab who can talk about more than mom; the rotten side is that the wandering sadge moon frequently causes a midlife crisis of mega-proportions.

... says: a CANCER-Sun with a SAG-Moon ;-).

Blunt, outspoken, honest, direct, adventurous, competitive - but a good sport, courageous, self-sufficient, well developed sense of humour, freedom loving, proud ... I'd add all these as well.

My significant other is an Aries sun, Sag moon. When he boasts, it's more out of playfulness and it's kind of endearing to me ... it's like he's saying, "You love me, right?" And Aries are the baby of the zodiac, so my Pisces Moon just melts.

He is very sincere. He seeks the truth like it's its own religion. Nothing hurts him more than falsehood. He is also a very good teacher and wise beyond his years. When he has a philosophy, he is not easily swayed from it. He's open to other ideas (Jupiter expansiveness) but has a strong sense of his own opinions and isn't easily swayed.

Hope that helps

I can totally agree on this one... Most of my closest friends are either Sags or have their moon in Sag (Iīm drawn to them for friendship!).

They do boast...jaysus, they never stop... but the thing is; they donīt boast about things that they arenīt good at or they donīt have etc. They might exaggerate a bit, but there is for sure some truth in what they are saying.

still - I love em!

My ex boyfriend is a Sag moon and he's not much of a boaster, though he does have an aura that makes him seem good at what he does, I guess.

Though once when he was drunk he went on and on how great his hair was and that if he donated it, it would be worth $1000 AT LEAST. He's also a Leo sun, so I had a big LOL over that.

This hasn't been my experience with Sag Moons at all. In fact, two of the most humble people I know are Sag Moons. But they've both received so many accolades throughout school and their careers that I wonder if they just think that boasting would be redundant. They both have their Sun and Mercury in Scorpio, maybe that plays a part. They boast on the inside.

Off the top of my head, I'm friends with 3 other Sag Moons, very close to one of them. Two Geminis and a Libra. None of them are boastful either, although one of the Gems does have a boastful type of humor. The Libra is gorgeous and is truly not conceited about it. She even blushed the first time I called her pretty and compared her to a celebrity. Edit: Forgot about the Leo/Sag I know. Oops. He doesn't boast either.

The Sag Moons I know love to talk and joke around. They're the buddies I most often lose hours to over coffee. Just imagining them boasting is cracking me up b/c except for that one Gem, it's so out of character for them.

fieryscales - Stop boasting about not boasting. I bet I boast waaay less than you do.

I'm a Sag Sun and my Sag Sun friends and I do often joke around in a boasting way. Boasting that's silly, perverse, and demented. But the Sag Moon people I know aren't like that.

"Stop boasting about not boasting"

Ahh ha ha ha ha ah... I was thinking the same thing. All the sag moons came out to say how much better they are than the other sags because they don't boast.

Well, I'm a Sag moon (with a Leo sun to boot) so many may discount my opinion simply by association but here is my honest opinion: First of all, men in general tend to think with their egos so in general they think they're pretty great. Being ruled by fire (ego) probably makes this a tad worse. As a female Leo/Sag I find that though I don't boast often, when I DO say something optimistic about myself it can easily come across like I'm conceited. When someone who comes across as being full of themselves talks highly of themselves twice, they are often remembered as being that way ALL THE TIME. When someone who doesn't come across conceited talks about themselves in optimistic terms however, they are simply remembered as being a confident person who maybe tooted their own horn a couple of times. So I think with Sags the real issue is with the delivery rather than how often it happens. I know in my case, I'm much more likely to feed compliments to others than to myself, but in the few times where I've acknowledged my "awesomeness" for lack of a better term it has always bred some sort of contempt due to how it seems to come across. As a result I have to be very careful when I do this.

And yes, I do have a poor filter system and I too often shoot myself in the foot by actually saying what I think. The time I innocently told my boss's boss he was sexy for a gay man comes to mind.

Motorgirl - *gasp* We have an inverse sun/moon combo. Is your Moon near 16š Sag & Sun near 22š Leo?

I agree the impression made (confident v. conceited or secure v. insecure) is tied more to the boastful comment's delivery than to its frequency.

We have a wide and a very wide conjunction then. Nice.
Your Sun is conjunct my MC. Oh, your Sun is also conj Barack Obama's Sun. You wouldn't happen to be left-handed too?

This line of reasoning makes perfect sense.
