i've learned from some other post that karmic lessons can be linked with the nodes. north node is what we need to focus on in this life and south node is what we learned in a past life.

as far as karmic cycles, look at saturn and his lessons. linda g talked about the saturn seven cycles somewhere.

i also think (this is my intuition cuz i didn't really read it anywhere) that chiron can be linked with past lives. he is the 'wounded healer' so i figure that has something to do with karma.

the 3rd house can be siblings. there are so many things to learn from each other, especially siblings. they know how to jab our sensitive spots so that we become conscious of these spots. this helps us to grow as human beings. our families are 'built in' as the closest people in our lives so they have quite an influence / karmic tie in our learning here!

i'm not sure about the charts of only children. i think they choose to come here and learn in that type of environment. what exactly were you wondering about these kids?
