it means you are part of the LL club, ee!! welcome. we have so many algol people here it's beyond the law of averages. my ic is there. cpn and several others have asc there. T's sun, i have forgotten all the names and placements there are so many.perhaps we are all going to be involved in the end of the world, or perhaps it is an ancestral inheritance...i know my family (irish + russian) had plenty of involvement in the famines and world wars of the last 2 centuries...that is why they came her to the us...i think the holocaust is an algol event... but personally although my dad's sun was right on it, i have not found it to indicate disaster, unless it's still ahead of me. i had a home that burned down once, and have had plenty of close calls, but nothing extraordinary in the scheme of things... Whew! That's a relief...  Thank you for easing my mind katatonic! After IQ's post I began freaking out, thinking that it means something catastrophic is going to happen to me! You're russian? What generation? I'm originally from Odessa but it was Russia when I was born. I wonder if that has something to do with it? Anyway, thanks for putting my anxious mind to rest I worry quite often in general. IP: Logged |

my grandparents were russian. i'm not even really sure where they were from, but it was RUSSIA (there was no soviet union when they fled) and my grandmother was a very rural soul...many of their relatives stayed over there until the 30's and 40's when hitler got in gear. and many never made it out at all.so the inheritance, or dna, of trauma and catastrophe are certainly in the mix. i think this may be true of a lot of us, especially since america is full of former refugees and their descendants... my dad died young but then that was always his plan, didn't want to be an old man ever!

I have algol (149) conj my karma/neptun in scorpio  . Hard life. But I love it sometimes  . I will not use drugs because it broken people down. I believe its an aspect who can get people to use drugs. We always have a choice. IP: Logged |

yes, Neptune in challenging aspects can definitely indicate a risk of addiction (drugs, alcohol, food, even relationships).I have a pretty strong Neptune myself, and I know that it is best for me to better stay far far away from any kind of drugs. I fell prey to the drug "food" though. In my puberty I was attracting friends to me who would start doing drugs, and I lost frienships due to this. But we do have a choice. I chose to avoid drugs and addictive friendships. IP: Logged |
