I'm a St Bernard!! The description sounds like my cancer rising has a lot to do with it..

Monika, you're a St. Bernard!
No bones about it, you're a dedicated, trustworthy St. Bernard. Loyal and good-hearted, you're as reliable as they come. Your naturally protective personality is reflected in the way you treat people close to you. Sheltering your nearest and dearest from harm (or bad news, for that matter) is high on your priority list. That attitude earns you lots of gold stars, not to mention respect. People admire your strong morals — and how well you stick to them! Focused, steadfast, and determined, you always aim to please. It's a breed like yours that makes the world a better place — woof!

Laura, you're a Yorkshire Terrier!
No bones about it, you're a social, bustling Yorkshire Terrier. Active and enthusiastic, Yorkies like you have a ton of energy — which means you're probably always running around like a mad dog. You're never without a project to work on, an errand to run, or a party to catch. (Where do you find the time?) You're a chatty little pup, too — talking is one of your favorite pastimes. That's why all your friends and acquaintances see you as their own personal Entertainment Tonight and rely on you for the latest gossip and social bulletins. You always liven up a dinner party or cocktail gathering, and people simply adore your affectionate nature and get-up-and-go eagerness. Woof!

Find the link on the right hand side of the page to take a different test to find out what kind of dog you are. The hardest part on this one is limiting yourself to only 5 personality characteristics. According to this one I'm happily:

Dog Name
Irish Setter (Big Red)

Origins
Ireland. Developed by crossing Irish Water Spaniels, Spanish Pointers, English and Gordon Setters. This resulted in a beautiful, exuberant, pointer-like dog, which is notable for its classic pointing stance. Although it originated in Ireland the breed came into its own in Victorian England, where its speed and energy made it ideal as a gun dog in large open expanses of countryside.

Personality
While undoubtedly having hunting ability, this breed is widely sought after as a family pet. It is good with children and other pets and has a particular affinity with horses. Boundless energy and therefore needing plenty of exercise as well as regular grooming.

lol I got an anorexic dog

Dog Name: SALUKI

Origins
Iran. The Saluki and Sloughi have parallel histories and most likely date back to the same stem in the ancient Middle East and a painting dated 3600 BC shows such dogs. Esteemed by Arab sheiks and nomadic Bedouin, this breed was paired with hawks to hunt gazelles and other game. They were never sold but presented as gifts, which is how they reached Europe.

Personality
This elegant, if somewhat aloof breed is loyal, affectionate and trustworthy and despite limited interest in Europe is now a well sought- after animal. It still retains strong hunting instincts and so care should be taken when taking it to the countryside.

Thanks, AG

That test sucks. I've done it before but I tried it again. It said I was a Chihuahua. They have got to be one of the freakiest yappiest dogs ever. No offence. Although somehow I doubt a dog is going to be surfing the internet.

What kind of dog do you think would represent with your/any sign? Whether it's by stereotype, or written proof, or just whatever you want. Feel free to list every sign and what you feel as well

List your Sun/Moon/Venus/Jupiter or anything else if you feel it pertains to this

-----------------------------------------

Ok. I really like Samoyeds. I think they're my favorite dog and since I'm slowly switching to Western Sidereal I think that they could be considered a Libra type of dog.

They're good natured,affectionate and friendly.

Also, they're versatile, (they were used for herding livestock and they're fur was sheared off for clothing, they also would cuddle with there owners in the tents)playful and intelligent,(I have Gemini rising)

Sun:Libra 29'27 Moon:Leo 14' Ascendant:Gemini 4'40 Venus:Sagittarius Mars:Scorpio

Here are some other quizzes I took that gave me results that didn't sound like me.

I got this one too when the site was still up and running.

I'm not sure what kind of pooch would fit my sign.....I find dachhounds to be very delightful and protective. Shelties are a lot of fun - a smaller version of Lassie (Collie).

For Aqua maybe put down a Beagle dog......reminds me of what Linda Goodman put in her Sun signs book about Snoopy being an Aquarian dog with an afflicted Neptune.

What Breed of Dog Are You?
Lauren, you're a Bernese Mountain Dog! No bones about it, you're a good-hearted, people-loving Bernese Mountain Dog. Down-to-earth and loyal, no one works or plays harder than you do. You put your nose to the grindstone when it really counts, but you never neglect your social calendar (lol, I DO neglect my social calendar). Simultaneously strong and sweet, you're very tuned-in to the feelings and needs of the other dogs you run with. Without having to be asked, you always have a helping paw to lend and a sympathetic shoulder to lean on. "Communication" is your middle name, and when that's paired with your unswerving devotion, you get a breed that everyone respects and trusts. Woof!

A Grand Danois (or Great Dane), without a question.
It's so aquarius. Looks stoic on the outside but once you get to know him you'll find that he's really friendly and sweet.

And I don't even like dogs especially (prefer cats but I do love all animals, sometimes more than most people - shameful thing to affirm, I know, but it's true). But these dogs are just... wow. I love them.
I hope to be lucky enough to have one or two one day. If I ever have a house fit for them.

But if I really have to be honest and if I put my taste aside... I'd say aquarius can only really be represented by a mutt.
