hey i was wondering , for men with Venus in Aquarius:

how does it affect the way they love?

what kind of women do they look for?

are they stable in relationships?

is marriage a very bendable concept for them?

I would prefer that air/fire men answer to this or people who know air/fire men with this placement, coz the person I am thinking of is heavily air (particularly Libra) followed by fire

and of course, if the two maestros Tim and Lanny showed up that would make it jus PERFECT

A little later, I'll write you out Debbie Kempton-Smith's description of Venus in Aqua...it's flippin' hilarious (and had my Venus in Aqua dude nodding his head an agreement - or furrowing his brow in consternation - the entire time).

VENUS IN AQUARIUS

You know those adorable talking robots they sell for about eighty bucks?
These dear sweet souls wonder what goes wrong in their relationships. Why do people get sick of them so fast? Why does it seem they have to try so much harder than other people? How come they have to try so many *more* people when they're looking for a mate? We know Venus in Aquarius is demented, as in Aries, Virgo, or Scorpio, but in the other three signs Venus is at least gaudily selfish, exacting, or obsessive, in that order. Dear sweet friendly Venus in Aquarius people wonder and do not know that they are cold fish.
Oh, the old gonads run real good, and Venus in Aquarius people have fascinating friends, but it's rare that you take these people serious as lovers. Their take-it-or-leave-it attitude might intrigue you at first, but these eminently beddable folks never seem to warm up emotionally unless you're not there.
If you like your lovers easy to get, like a newspaper, you can have them, and you can keep them, too. Their faithful state comes not from the heart but from habit, though sexually they can be dynamite. It's a cover-up for lack of feeling. Both sexes want romance to be unexpected, on the whim of the moment. They are most turned on when you don't want to be turned on, or where someone might catch you in the act. That old lightening strikes when it strikes, and by God, you'd better be ready. In this way they can be Attila the Hun with your feelings, though they try...and they try...and they try...and they try...
(...)
Oh, I guess they really do care about you, it just comes out funny. They certainly never want to hurt anybody. Think of how difficult it must be for a robot to express passion and trust that somewhere deep in that hunk of gray gunmetal there is a power cell that pulses for you, pulses forever.
Beep! Beep!

Here it is again, with what didn't make my husband feel insulted in bold; what I think may be true, but that he denies, is in italics:

lol prox thanks much

i loved the "eminently beddable" part SO TRUE

altho this guy is quite clueless about why he doesnt get women, hes only had one relationship (for 5 yrs!, with a Libra gal i think). also, he has no probs expressing emotions in fact hes overly chivalrous and gallant.

but still a good read, and i will keep an eye out for the bedding habits part

This should be required reading for anyone thinking of getting into a 'relationship' (I place it in quotes as it's not going to be anything like the received and recognised experience the rest of us look on as a relationship!) with a Venus in Aqua man

My Aqua man (who incidentally has Sun, Moon, Mars and Venus in Aqua, and the Venus is in retrograde at that!) is the archetypal 'TinMan' bless his poor iron heart, but that's why I cherish every little utterance of affection or love that he's ever brave enough to make. I came downstairs this morning to find a hand written note from him saying, "I love you I do!!" Now that's romance coming from him! A dozen red roses arrived for me on our recent one year anniversary - you see? They can do it... it's just that it has to be coaxed, nurtured and applauded out of them!

I suppose they're to be congratulated and admired for even trying under the sheer weight of all that Aqua metal. The strength of those freezing cold Aqua winds can knock you right off your feet, but the power of a Venus in Aqua telling you he loves you... well that's nuclear!

Cardinalgal, your man has sun, moon, mars AAANNND Venus in Aquarius? Would be interested in what your own chart looks like. What 'type' of woman are you? You seem to love him dearly (and handle him well) and vice versa.

Hooked on a man with Sun, venus and mars in aqua and I'm struggling to cope with the the cold (aqua) wind.

Oh Sandra if only I could handle him! I've come to the conclusion there's just no 'handling' of Aqua men and especially those with all that air in their chart!

I suppose I've just resigned myself to loving him and if it works great, if it doesn't then I pick myself up and get onto the next lesson I'm to learn Of course I sound together about that now but if it ever happened I'd be on the floor! I'd live though.

It's funny, but just being myself and not playing any manipulative games with him seems to be the key with my Aqua... he says he loves the way I just let him be who he is and not try to alter his behaviour. I joke with him about his lack of romance sometimes and we have a good laugh about it - I also try to explain how it is to be in my shoes and he likes that. It sets his mechanical brain ticking and examining me under the mental microscope. Then he's off onto the next topic and that's my 'Romance window' over for another few days/weeks/months (delete as applicable! )

I'll post our charts for you to have a look at - if you have any insight I'd be just as grateful as you for any thoughts.

Good luck with your water bearer - remember what it means btw, bearing water - it means they're carriers of 'feelings'; they may not know what to do with them, but that's their lesson in this lifetime. Aquas are everybody's friend. They'll help all of us with anything and all we need to do is ask. So I think we can help them with their burden a little on the way by way of paying it forward

My boyfriend also has aqua venus, and believe it or not he has never had a girlfriend for over 3 monthes, and he's 19. He's sweet, got an earthy-look to him, and he's liked by everyone so he sounds like the perfect guy (well to some girls). But I can see why girls break up with him after a little while because he is soo quiet and not very romantic. Plus, he calls whenever he feels like it, it might be everyday or once every other week.

His chart:

Sun Capricorn 02°42'05 12 direct
Ascendant Capricorn 08°55'03
Moon Scorpio 22°09'58 10 direct
Mercury Capricorn 22°36'14 01 direct
Venus Aquarius 05°57'48 01 direct
Mars Sagittarius 04°25'02 11 direct
Jupiter Cancer 06°13'38 06/7 retrograde
Saturn Capricorn 14°43'15 01 direct
Uranus Capricorn 05°18'24 12 direct
Neptune Capricorn 11°44'14 01 direct
Pluto Scorpio 16°51'41 10 direct
True Node Aquarius 17°29'46 02 retrograde

Now THATS what I call a party boy!
..Our last date was spent at his house watching a Law and Order marathon. I'm Not Kidding...We only watched 3 episodes though before I talked him into watching it the next day because it was a 2-day marathon.
He is very sweet in an odd way. He's romantic in a Cappy-Way; Not in an 'I love you' way. We've dated for a year and he's only said I love you about 3 times...
But I've got aqua sun so why do I care how many times he says it?

*I would suggest an Aqua venus man ONLY to emotionally independent/emotionally strong women. If you have to be held, kissed and all that good stuff then this is not your cup of tea.

I am a cappy sun/aqua moon/aqua venus woman and I've heard man and woman in Aqua venus do not differ much in terms of showing emotions.

Well, I have emotions. I think I do . Yet, I've been tagged as cold and distant by a lot of men in my life. I cannot get along well with water signs of any gender.
You can confide in me. I am very dependable. I love giving advice, yet I would not understand if your intention was to seek emotional support/comfort through conversing with me. I have problems showing affection or empathy. I do feel it, yet it's so deep within and they don't come out easily. They think I am putting on an act when they come out every now and then. Men find me attractive for the way I stand in life- independent and cool- yet they run away from for the exact same matter, twisting it a little bit to- distant and unemotional. Asking people for help (emotional or material) is difficult for me. Sometimes, I have to act to ask help from men to show them that they are needed around. :P

BTW Law and Order is my favorite show, too. I can watch 20 episodes back to back easily :P.

I have this. And it hurts.

They are fascinated with you, but never enough to stay.

I feel it is too easy for them to break their promises and leave as if it never meant anything in the first place.

Lonely and confusing placement. I am too scared to open up my heart but also to leave it closed and be alone.

You almost get used to that feeling after a while though.

I'm an aqua venus girl? Does that count for anything?

I feel a great potential for love. The thing my boyfriends have complained about me the most is that I expect honesty to see if we really click, and if I don't like what I hear I feel justified in walking out because it's better for both of us.

Deep down I have a very "que sera, sera," attitude toward love.

But that is only about the two of us as people... I can't help but see the broader scope of things. Of course it hurts if things don't work out, but I believe that some things are really for the best.

In any case, I am not one to give up on loving. If the last relationship didn't work, there's bound to be someone new to try it out with. It's always a learning experience.

One other thing I've read about aqua venuses is that for them, no relationship is really ever over. For me this is true, as I carry past relationships around with me to this day. Not like baggage, but more like a colorful quilt.

Hope this helps.

Lousianagrl...your guy's Mars in Sagittarius also will have something to do with erratic/unpredictable behaviour...unpredictability is somewhat second nature to Sag.

Louisianagirl, I am the female equivalent of your guy.
My sun is capricorn, venus is Aqua, Mars is Sag and Mercury is capricorn as well

I like your guy already! He may appear a bit nerdy, but don't give up on him!!!

I am not a fan of Venus in Aquarius,
Right now I have progressed Moon AND Venus in Aqua, and I am so detached in matters of the heart, not giving anyone a chance unless they treat me like an equal and a friend, first. I've turned away so many prospects because they approached me romantically, my Natal Moon and Venus are in Capricorn, but now they're both in progressed Aqua and I can see the change. Didn't really believe in progressions and so thought I would retain the Capricorn Air, but nope!
And I feel so bad, cos this guy I've been friends with for bout a yr, kind of invited himself to my place for Thanksgiving, sort of in a charming way, but I was so put off by all the commitment that spending thanksgiving together at my place might bring, that I didn't even have to balls to call him and say, I'd rather be with the fam, I just left him to wonder. Ouch, it's so bad. But I feel so easily "put upon" nowadays.

I need them to hurry up to Pisces.

As an intro, my Sun, Venus, Mercury and Jupiter are all in Aquarius and my chinese astrology is the tiger which happens to be their Aquarius equivalent.

In terms of love, I haven't fallen in love yet and have a hard time falling in love but at the same time I haven't met anyone who has really caught my attention.

I'm not looking for a woman, so I can't help you there but if I were to look for a woman, I would look for the same qualities that I look for in a man which are: intelligence, confidence, humor, loyalty, honesty and a big penis (kidding). I like a man who can stand up to me and challenge me, who can beat me at my own little power grabbing games that I play. (not that I play them to really gain power, I just find it amusing how easily i can grab and manipulate it.) I don't like Jealousy or men who worry too much. I'm really attracted to humor and men who can laugh at themselves and not take things seriously -- so over emotional sensitive types don't really cut it.

I would like to think that I'm stable in relationships. If there was any problems or concerns, you just need to openly communicate it with me. I'm pretty easy going.

I have a very monogamous mind set. So marriage is definitely a bondable concept for me, although, I do need my space. So you have to realize that just because they don't want to see you for a certain time frame, that doesn't mean that they love you any less. I don't think think I have a cheating bone in me, so you can be sure about our loyalty.
