Do you guys think that it's possible that someone in this lifetime that you have constantly met "coincidentally" is the Universe's way of saying "HEY! THIS IS THE ONE. QUITE LETTING THEM GO!", or is it really all just a coincidence?I have a very very close friend (read: love interest) that I've bumped into after not seeing for maybe 3+ months and no matter what is happening in our lives, we can always just pick up from where we last were. We keep on touch online and we can talk about everything. What's interesting is that we can always talk about each other's love lives. I wrote him a 6 page letter confessing how for two years I've been unrequitedly in love with him. I should get a reply in maybe two weeks. (He's out of the country studying abroad) Him:

Aries Venus
Sag Mars
Libra Asc Me:
Cancer Sun
Scorpio Moon
Gemini Mercury
Gemini Venus
Pisces Mars
Libra Asc So, what do you guys think? Do you think that the Powers that Be play an "active" part in fate such chance encounters with a loved one or do the Powers that Be give us opportunities and then we're the ones that really determine our fate. Sorry if I'm sounding really philosophical. I did just write a 6 page (front and back) love note. ------------------

Hmm... I don't know. I'm not even sure about the "higher forces". I just think anything is or could be possible depending on the perfect conditions that they could arise from. Take a look at our Earth, I mean. Our planetary placement is perfect, enough to keep us from freezing or frying along with the rest of the "goldilocks conditions" to develop life on this planet. Anything can randomly happen with any outside force knocking us off our preplanned arrangements and everything. We work with what we do have. But knowing how this person matters to you so much, I'm glad that you took advantage of the time to write a letter and make something happen. I, myself, have had this one friend for a long time. Right now she's away- I just can't see her anymore for a while, but we are so flexible with each other, understanding, and open that we can reinitiate contact and pick up where we'd left off. I used to talk to this guy friend online too, every once in a while, but we'd talk about everything and it was totally comfortable. It was our only means of comversation since he was always absentm but sadly, I've lost him. Best wishes for your endeavor (I know, it sounds contradictory to what I said, but oh well). ------------------

I have this same kind of relationship with the friend I posted about in my thread "Leo vs. Sagittarius". Except I'm not in love with him...I don't think I am anyway. Lol.  I obviously haven't known him as long as you've known this guy (I've only known him 5 years, and I'm young.  ) IP: Logged |

Yeah, I have a really good feeling about this one. My intuition is absolutely "guiding" me towards this guy. We always manage to "find" each other at the perfect moments..*sigh* ------------------

Im sure in Love Signs Linda says that sometimes Cancer/Pisces can be apart and return to each other often..
As for fate..i believe we choose the major things that will happen in our life(b4 we come)..the free will is the path we chose to take to hit them. As for chance..yeh some things are just that..and sometimes we need to be hit over the head to pay attention..
I have to add i love the way pisces listen...i mean really listen..they hear and feel what your saying to them..and you can be completely honest with them and there is no judgement..love that!IP: Logged |

I kept running into this one guy, like at several social events which I would be SURPRISED to see HIM at too ... only thing was ... I COULD NOT STAND HIM!!!It happened so often that I actually had to stop and question the "fate" aspect as well. There was NO way it was a good thing. It was as if he was a negative soul I had chained to me in previous lives, but was finally able to keep at arm's length with a mere glazed look on my face. (But it did take some discipline)... ------------------
