Topic: Did you ever have an Emotional Affair? EA?

Have you ever had an emotional affair with another that was significant to both you and the other party, while in relationship? What's your sun and moon like, and why do you think it happened? Also did you feel guilty or not? The reason I ask is because I did this twice in the past and it bothered me very much and hurt my main relationship-both were with men who had lots of earth in their charts-not very emotional. I wanted to find out how it happens, of if others thought EA's were significant and dangerous? Emotional Affairs are not physical. Thanks, Natasha

I've had two of these, both very different.Guy #1) We were "best friends" and I had NO physical attraction to him whatsoever. His wife was madly jealous. So much so that we had to continue our friendship in secret for many years. I believe he was in love with me. At least, that's what his wife said. Guy #2) We were "friends" and I was secretly in love with him. I'm sure he had no idea. He was living with a girl and they have now been "engaged" for over ten years. I don't believe he has any intention of marrying her. She's totally being taken advantage of. So you see, this is why I kept my feelings a secret. I don't "do" sexual impropriety, or affairs. I'm against it. Somehow I think he picked up on the physical attraction and tried to "test the waters," kissing me. I reacted as if I was baffled he would try such a thing. "How dare you. I am so offended!" I always assumed because I am an Aquarius I could pull these things off. You know, being in love with someone without them ever knowing. Sun Aqua

I hate to say it, but yeah... I've been guilty of this before. (While with Geminis)I think for me it was because I wasn't feeling understood or I thought something was lacking in my present situation. I think that if someone is prone to romanticizing, this will happen. It can cause problems with the current relationship the person is in. Also on the flip side of the coin (Libra moon and asc. playing)  it may help a person realize what they are really needing. It's caused me to end a relationship with a person before. I was seeing with rose colored glasses. The person whom I found this connection with turned out to be very different from what I had thought. (not in a good way) I also have to admit that I believe I would get as angry over this as I would if my partner were physically cheating.
